Yue Linze blinked, sitting up straighter, which brought their lips even closer. Tao Yu frowned and tried to sit up, but he suddenly grabbed her hands and pulled her close, with barely a finger’s width between their lips. Yue Linze said leisurely—
“Little prison guard, are you inviting me right now?”

Yue Linze finished speaking, slowly curling his lips. Although part of today’s events were his own doing, she had been too cooperative. This woman had first risked her life to save him, then found an excuse to bring him medicine, with everything she did seeming to hint at an inappropriate intimacy.
Fortunately, this was a woman, so he was willing to play along. If it had been a man, he would have likely been confined longer for assaulting a prison guard.
“Indeed, in this prison, I’m probably the only good-looking man. You like my face, don’t you?” Yue Linze’s gaze shifted, with a wild and untamed look in his eyes. He released her arm and reached out to touch her face, “I’m not for sale, but for the sake of the cute prison guard, I can cooperate… Hiss!”
Before he could finish, Tao Yu jabbed a finger on his facial wound. As he winced in pain, she quickly pulled out her electric baton and charged it towards him.
Yue Linze’s expression changed, hastily leaning back, but the room was too small. Halfway through dodging, he hit the wall. When the baton touched his body, he let out a muffled groan and fell on the bed, body curling and twitching before barely recovering.
He frowned at Tao Yu, the usual playfulness gone from his eyes.
Tao Yu coldly looked back at him. After he dared to meet her gaze, she turned off the electric baton and sneered, “Look at your pitiful state. What qualifies you to receive my invitation? Next time, please look in the mirror before being so arrogant, to avoid making a fool of yourself.”
