Yue Linze looked at her with a smile for a while, finally deciding not to make things difficult for her. “Okay, I was just teasing you…”
Before he could finish, Tao Yu lunged forward, her small hands reaching through the iron window to grab his face and kiss him. Yue Linze was stunned for a moment, then closed his eyes, enjoying her rare initiative. He tried to pull her into his arms, but could only touch the cold door panel.
His expression cleared for a moment before quickly hiding that emotion, biting and grinding her lips.
A kiss was difficultly completed through the door’s iron window. When Tao Yu let go, her lips were bright red and glistening. She stared at Yue Linze, catching her breath, then quickly fled without a word.
Yue Linze watched her back until it disappeared, laughing after a while. When he returned to bed, his body was cold, but he felt his blood boiling, unable to calm down. After rolling in bed for a long time, he sighed, realizing he was truly smitten this time.
Tao Yu muttered to herself that she must be crazy, otherwise she wouldn’t do whatever he wanted. She fled back to her dormitory as if escaping, closing the door and taking a deep breath, finally relaxing.
Afraid Yue Linze might sneak over in the middle of the night, she carefully locked the door and added another lock before feeling at ease and going to wash up. After a hot shower, she lay in bed staring at the ceiling, first thinking about finding an opportunity to guide him to plan for the future, hoping that once he had a life goal, the world’s hostility would disappear.
Disappear… just thinking about this possibility made her heart ache. She took a deep breath, turned over, and refused to think further. Remembering their daily interactions over the past few days, a smile appeared in her eyes.
Both happy and worried, she was finally getting sleepy when a light sound from the door made her nascent drowsiness completely vanish.
