“Isn’t it embarrassing, Yue Linze?” Tao Yu glanced at him, deciding to teach him a lesson, “You don’t think there are differences between people?”
She paused, feeling she’d made her point, and decided to go explain to Zhou Ying. Last time she had faked illness, Zhou Ying hadn’t leaked it after she spoke to him, so she hoped the same would happen now.
As she was about to leave, Yue Linze grabbed her arm, “Explain clearly. What do you mean by embarrassing? If that’s how you feel, why are you with me?”
Tao Yu shook off his hand, gave him a cold look, and said, “I don’t want to talk to you right now.” Then she hurried downstairs.
Yue Linze stood in the room for a long time, looking at the broken sink and sighing that his plan had failed. He had deliberately made the noise to force Tao Yu to acknowledge their relationship in front of Zhou Ying, but he realized she looked down on him deep down and had never truly considered him.
What was he to her? Just a tool to relieve loneliness on the island? The thought darkened Yue Linze’s face. He had once said this arrangement was fine, but now he realized it wasn’t. He wanted Tao Yu’s genuine love, not just a convenient arrangement.
Tao Yu gave him a sympathetic look. “Alright, let’s not talk about this anymore. Didn’t you say you’d help me arrange the program? Let’s go.”
“Hmm, let’s go.” Mentioning this matter, Zhou Ying immediately regained his spirit, chatting with Tao Yu as they walked towards the playground.
In the dormitory building, Yue Linze stood silently by the window, staring at the two gradually moving away, a hint of anger flashing in his eyes.
Today was the final rehearsal, and Fat Guy and the others had been waiting for a long time before Yue Linze arrived. Fat Guy immediately approached him, wiggling his eyebrows and said, “Boss, how was yesterday?” He then let out a few sly chuckles.
Yue Linze casually glanced at him, and Fat Guy instantly froze. When he came to his senses, Yue Linze had already walked far away. He looked bewildered, “What’s going on?”
