Yandere Begs for a Break – Part One

Tao Yu had done psychological interventions for many patients, naturally understanding the meaning behind his gaze. She had seen many patients with psychological issues fall in love with gentle doctors, but she never imagined Yue Linze would become one of them.

When did he develop feelings? It was so sudden?!

She instantly panicked. Yue Linze was different from every patient she had previously encountered – he was dangerous, unfathomable, and mercurial, making it impossible for her to predict his next move or adjust her approach as she would with other patients.

Noticing her spacing out again, a flash of displeasure crossed Yue Linze’s eyes. He pinched her chin with his right hand, the cold touch instantly bringing her back to reality. Only then did he look satisfied, saying casually, “Gone mad with happiness?”

Tao Yu: “…” When had she shown any sign of happiness?!

His fingertip gently rubbed her delicate chin, then slowly moved up, pressing against her soft, crimson lips.

Tao Yu felt both itchy and uncomfortable, unable to dodge. She forced a stiff smile, “Sir, aren’t you tired holding yourself up? Why not rest a bit?”

Yue Linze stared at her for a while. Just as Tao Yu thought he might explode, he lowered his eyes and said, “I am tired.”

Tao Yu sighed in relief, planning to find an excuse to retreat once he got up and devise a new treatment plan to maintain distance.

Just as she made her plan, she suddenly felt a weight on her, reflexively letting out a small “eek”. Seeing Yue Linze completely on top of her, she exclaimed in shock, “What are you doing?!”

“You told me to rest,” Yue Linze casually lifted a strand of her hair.

… I told you to rest, not to rest ON me! Please return to your plank position! After an internal roar, Tao Yu maintained a calm attitude, “Mr. Yue, I think we should talk.”

“Call me sir.”

“Hm?” Tao Yu frowned.

Yue Linze met her innocent, confused eyes and slowly said, “I’m in bed. I like hearing you call me sir.”

Tao Yu was stunned, her face suddenly turning red. She opened her mouth, finally squeezing out a few difficult words, “How did you know…” Midway, she remembered the butterfly brooch – if it could transmit voice, listening wasn’t impossible either?
