Yandere Begs for a Break – Part One

Yue Linze looked up at her, his gaze openly possessive. Tao Yu shrank under his look but quickly smiled ingratiatingly.

Her subtle movement caught his eye. Yue Linze scoffed, without a moment’s hesitation, “I choose low-tier.”

Tao Yu’s mouth twitched, her smile instantly fading. She thrust the hairdryer at him like a snob, “Low-tier is self-service. Or you can ask the butler. I’m the manager, and low-tier is not in my job description.”

This man is so difficult! She thought he’d at least choose medium-tier, to at least extract some information.

Yue Linze raised an eyebrow, silently staring at the hairdryer.

Tao Yu secretly glanced at him, catching him looking down in thought. His wet hair hung over his forehead, his sharp, handsome features softened, looking almost pitiful.

Indeed, pitiful. His mother died early, and his father was biased. Born into a prestigious family, he never received much affection. Now, finally meeting a woman he liked, she kept deceiving him. Whenever Tao Yu thought about this, her heart would involuntarily soften.

Yue Linze was thinking about how to teach her a lesson so that she would obediently listen in the future when a dry towel suddenly fell on his head. His expression paused momentarily, and when he looked up, he saw Tao Yu’s unhappy face.

“What are you looking at!” Tao Yu glared at him, expressionlessly wiping his head with the towel before turning on the hairdryer.

Yue Linze looked at her calmly, his eyes filled with emotions that were hard to understand. Tao Yu didn’t know that her obedient behavior had inadvertently helped her escape a calamity.

When her hair was dried and the hairdryer was turned off, the room suddenly became quiet. Tao Yu had just put down the hairdryer when she lowered her head and met Yue Linze’s eyes. She was stunned for a moment, and then, as if possessed, cupped his face and kissed him.

The instant their lips touched, Tao Yu froze, quickly sitting up and nervously explaining, “That… I didn’t mean to!”

Yue Linze glanced at her and said flatly, “Why are you blushing?”

Tao Yu’s face, which was already warming up after the stolen kiss, turned even redder at his comment. She said angrily, “If you hadn’t asked, I definitely wouldn’t be blushing!”
