Yandere Begs for a Break – Part One

Yue Linze, as he said, really came back very quickly, with a time span of no more than a minute.

Tao Yu found it funny. “What did you go out for?” Was he specifically running out to breathe some fresh air?

“This,” Yue Linze raised the scissors in his hand.

Tao Yu was puzzled. “What are you doing with scissors?”

Yue Linze glanced at her, silently squatting down next to the blood stain, and cut out the piece of carpet stained with blood using the scissors.

Tao Yu’s mouth twitched. “Even if you don’t want to clean it, you don’t need to be so extreme…”

This carpet wasn’t cheap. Cutting off a piece like this would probably require replacing the entire floor. Although she knew this world was virtual, Tao Yu still genuinely felt heartache for the money.

Yue Linze said nothing, carefully folding the cut-out carpet piece and placing it in his suit pocket.

Tao Yu had a bad feeling. “What are you going to do?”

“Preserve it,” Yue Linze said calmly.

Tao Yu was speechless, feeling she had underestimated his perverted degree.

“So dirty…” Knowing that persuading him would be useless, Tao Yu expressed her disgust and then let it go.

She watched Yue Linze organize files, finally unable to suppress a yawn.

Yue Linze never rested during work hours, so his office never had a rest area. Seeing Tao Yu was extremely tired, he suggested having the housekeeper send her back.

Tao Yu flatly refused. She didn’t want the housekeeper to know what happened, which was why she was wearing spare clothes from Yue Linze’s office instead of having the housekeeper bring a new set. After all, he cared about his reputation. Her original clothes had already been torn by Yue Linze and thrown in the trash like pickled vegetables.

Yue Linze thought for a moment, dialed his assistant’s internal line, and coldly said after the call connected, “Notify company staff to leave within half an hour. No one is allowed to stay.”

Tao Yu was stunned, about to stop him, but he had already hung up. She said helplessly, “It’s not necessary. I can wait until everyone leaves before leaving.”

“People are still working overtime at two in the morning,” Yue Linze glanced at her.
