Settling a Favor! Guan Min’er

Although I initially asked Yoyo to help me write a preface, so naturally I owe her a favor, writing a preface for her is indeed appropriate.

But, alas! Isn’t this favor a bit too short?

Hey, everyone, I’m Guan Min’er, please call me Min’er, which sounds more intimate, and we can pretend to be familiar. If there’s a chance in the future, I’d welcome you to directly call me Jin Cheng Min’er [hehe! Taking my husband’s surname, assuming I successfully get together with Jin Cheng Wu ^_^].

Let me tell you about the day before yesterday when I asked Yoyo for a preface to increase the page count for my July new book – “Beast Men Don’t Go to Bed” [Xie Yichun Fatty has instructed me to take the opportunity to advertise her new book, and I dare not disobey, so please bear with me!], and this heartless ointment immediately reminded me on the third day, “Hey, shouldn’t we reciprocate?”

Honestly, when I first saw the preface request email from the ointment, I had an irrepressible impulse – to move the mouse and directly delete it, pretending I hadn’t seen it.

Is there anyone this shameless?

If I wasn’t lazy about writing a preface or lacking inspiration, would I have asked her to help me? Of course not!

If I had a belly full of things to say, a pile of nonsense to share with everyone, would I need her to step in? Of course not!

So I really can’t understand what’s in the ointment’s head, not even understanding such a simple principle. Isn’t she afraid I might ruin her preface and make readers lose hope in the novel from the very beginning?

Wow! If that were the case, wouldn’t I be awesome, inadvertently taking down another enemy… No, if I really did that, before the ointment could come argue with me, New Moon’s big-headed Sister Xu would first chop me up, and then that manuscript-chasing monster Fatty Xie would lead a group of authors to point fingers at my fallen head, “Look, it’s Min’er! Such a scheming person, using the pretext of writing a preface to ruin someone else’s literary creation, how despicable!”
