Don’t Mess with the CEO

Ding Laoda looked at him, his eyes suddenly filling with tears. He didn’t know whether to laugh heartily or cry out loud – his emotions were truly complex!

“Normally, a young man would say to an elderly father: ‘Please give me your daughter’s hand. I will do my utmost to make her happy.'”

Wei Zhanyi, maintaining his proud demeanor, smiled and said, “First, I never consider normal situations. I have my own way.” He paused, becoming more confident. “Second, being with me, happiness is inevitable.”

“I admire your spirit,” Ding Laoda shook his head, his white hair floating. “But your forceful approach…” He sighed.

“How so?” He maintained his almost-smile.

“Your domineering attitude might clash head-on with Qingyan. I’m afraid you’ll end up hurting each other instead of falling in love.”

Wei Zhanyi wagged his finger. “That’s why I say I have six years to wear her down.”

“What do you mean?” Ding Laoda looked at him alertly. Was he planning to “teach” his precious daughter? Absolutely not!

Wei Zhanyi spoke about Qingyan with a gentle smile. “Qingyan is too young, too energetic, too impulsive, too sharp, too spicy, too driven, too overwhelming.”

“That’s why the dozen or so boyfriends she’s had before all fled early.”

He was absolutely certain. “She needs a man like me. We’re evenly matched and will be a perfect pair.”

“Is that so?”

“If she could just understand a bit of gentleness, fill her head with more rationality, and stop being so reckless, she’d be a perfect woman.”

Ding Laoda gave a pitiful expression. “Isn’t this like a fairy tale?”

“It’s not a fairy tale, as long as the teacher trusts me.”

Seeing how confident he was, Ding Laoda understood this would definitely be a bloody “taming” process.

What father wouldn’t feel heartache hearing his daughter would be “tamed”? But then, thinking about a mature, steady, and thoughtful man willing to take on his fierce daughter, allowing him to explain things to his already-passed wife when his time comes…

He swallowed. “Then I’ll leave it to you.”

Wei Zhanyi maintained his ambiguous smile. Mission accomplished!

“Miss, miss, you don’t have an appointment, you can’t barge in!”

At the Yihai Group headquarters, in the highest command center, Secretary Huang followed behind Qingyan, chasing her all the way.
