Food and Farm: Bringing a Prince to Cultivate the Land – Part -Two

Jiang Yan didn’t want to continue this feud, so he said: “Let’s end this matter here. From now on, you live your life, and we’ll live ours, without disturbing each other.”

“Alright!”

Ouyang Siyun agreed.

Though Jun Shen hadn’t forgiven him, at least Jiang Yan had, which made him feel somewhat better.

With the matter resolved,

Ouyang Siyun didn’t plan to linger. He wanted to return to the capital with Long Tingxue to get married.

They had already wasted so many years.

He didn’t want to continue like this with her.

After they left,

Jun Shen asked Jiang Yan: “Yan’er, when are we going back to the capital? I’ll listen to you; whenever you want to go back, we’ll go.”

Thinking of his sister and the others, whom they hadn’t seen for a long time,

Jiang Yan said: “Let’s go back now. My sister and the others are in the capital now, I wonder how they are.”

“If you don’t want to go back, I can send someone to bring them here.”

Jun Shen said directly.

After some consideration,

Jiang Yan agreed with Jun Shen’s suggestion. Firstly, the children were still young, and secondly, given the current situation with Ouyang Siyun, it was best not to see each other for now.

Jun Shen immediately sent Qing Yi and others to the capital to bring Jiang Ling, Jiang Wan, and Jiang Ran.

Knowing their sister was still alive,

but had lost her memory,

Jiang Ling and the others were very excited. They didn’t care that it was afternoon; they packed up and set off with Qing Yi in a carriage to Hai Town.

Chapter 131: I Remember Everything

They arrived in December, as it was nearing the New Year, Hai Town was much livelier than usual.

Although Jiang Ling and her sisters were visiting Hai Town for the first time, they didn’t bother to look at the scenery or the streets; they just wanted to see Jiang Yan as soon as possible.

Riding in the carriage,

Jiang Ling asked every now and then.

Qing Yi, annoyed by her questions, said directly: “My dear little lady, can you stop asking? We’ll tell you when we get there.”

“Indeed.”

Qing Er and the others agreed.

Jiang Ling chuckled and said: “Alright, alright, I won’t ask anymore, okay?”

Upon arrival,

Qing Yi finally told Jiang Ling and her sisters.

Upon learning they had arrived,

Jiang Ling quickly jumped off the carriage, took her youngest sister from Jiang Wan’s arms, and asked Qing Yi: “Qing Yi, where is my sister living now?”

“I’ll take you there.”

Qing Yi started walking towards a house ahead.

Jiang Yan was currently sitting in the courtyard with Jun Shen, taking care of their children.

Suddenly,

she saw Qing Yi returning with others.

Jiang Yan’s gaze fell on Jiang Ling and her sisters.

Before she could speak,

Jiang Ling, crying, ran over and hugged her: “Sister, sister, I finally see you. Sister, I knew you wouldn’t abandon us.”

Jiang Wan, with teary eyes, approached with Jiang Ran in her arms.

“Sister, it’s so good to see you safe. Ran’er, call big sister.”

“Big sister.”

Jiang Ran called out sweetly.

Suddenly remembering that her sister hadn’t regained her memory,

Jiang Ling let go and started introducing: “Big sister, I’m your third sister Jiang Ling, this is your second sister Jiang Wan, and she’s holding our little sister Jiang Ran…”

“Sister, does your head hurt?”

Jiang Wan asked.

Seeing how caring they were, Jiang Yan smiled and invited them: “Though I haven’t remembered yet, I feel very close to you all as soon as I see you. You must be tired from the journey, come and sit here.”

Jiang Ling’s eyes immediately fell on Jiang Da Bao and the others: “Big sister, are these our nephews?”

“Yes.”

Jiang Yan introduced them one by one.

Hearing their names were Jiang Da Bao, Jiang Er Bao, and Jiang San Bao,

Jiang Ling asked Jiang Yan: “Sister, why do they have your surname? Don’t you know that their father is Jun Shen?” Jun Shen opened his lips and said, “They are your sister’s children, it’s only right that they follow her faith.”

In these days, he had been very good to Jiang Yan and the children.

Although Jiang Yan had lost her memories of the past, she had fallen in love with Jun Shen again. Seeing him say this, she said, “I’ve thought it over, they’ll keep their nicknames, but their formal names will follow your surname, and you can choose their names.”

“Alright, I’ll do whatever Yan’er says.”

Jun Shen said with a doting gaze.

Jiang Ling and the others felt like they had just eaten a mouthful of dog food. They had been worried about how the two would get together, but now it seemed there was no need for concern.

Jiang Ling and the others sat down and chatted with Jiang Yan for a long time, until dinner time when the conversation finally ended.

In fact, Jiang Ling and the others had long missed the meals Jiang Yan cooked, but they hadn’t dared to say so. Today, they ate the dishes prepared by the cook hired by the family.

Though the taste was not as good as Jiang Yan’s cooking, it was still quite acceptable.

After dinner, they chatted for a while before going to wash up and sleep.

Jun Shen wanted to sleep with Jiang Yan, but Jiang Yan, considering her memory hadn’t fully recovered and they weren’t yet married, didn’t allow it.

In the following days, Jun Shen went to Old Bai daily to find a way to see if he could quickly cure Jiang Yan.

Old Bai would just roll his eyes at him every time.

Gradually, Jun Shen stopped asking because it couldn’t be rushed.

One morning in mid-May, as Jun Shen and Old Bai were about to join Jiang Yan for breakfast, they saw her walking out.

Jun Shen was about to greet Jiang Yan and hug their children when Jiang Yan grabbed his hand and led him outside.

“Yan’er…”

Jun Shen felt that Jiang Yan was somewhat different today.

Jiang Yan didn’t speak until they reached the beach, where she turned to Jun Shen with a radiant smile and said, “Jun Shen, I remember everything now!”

“Really?”

Jun Shen was overjoyed.

“Yes!”

Jiang Yan stood on her tiptoes and kissed him.

As Jiang Yan was about to pull away, Jun Shen held her close, deepening the kiss.

It was a while before they parted.

But soon, Jun Shen hugged Jiang Yan again, “Yan’er, do you know how hard it was for me when I heard you were dead? Thank goodness it was all a lie, and I found you, or else, I might have followed you.”

“Silly, even if that were the case, you must live well for me.”

Jiang Yan felt a pang in her heart, unable to imagine how Jun Shen had spent these days.

“What’s the point of living without you?”

Jun Shen asked her.

Jiang Yan tapped his head, “You must live well, because I want you to live well.”

Before he could respond, Jiang Yan continued, “Jun Shen, thank you for your hard work these days.”

Hearing this, Jun Shen playfully tweaked Jiang Yan’s nose, “What silly talk, compared to what you’ve been through, my hardships are nothing. I’ve learned about what happened during your pregnancy and childbirth. Yan’er, I truly regret not being by your side.”

Jiang Yan held his hand, “Jun Shen, I don’t blame you, please don’t think like that.”

“How can I not? I should have been with you regardless of everything. When you were to marry, I should have just taken you home.”

The more Jun Shen thought about it, the more he regretted it.

Jiang Yan then said, “Jun Shen, even if that had happened, it might not have ended well. After all, Long Tingxue was still in love with you.”

“It’s all my fault for getting involved with her.”

Jun Shen said guiltily.

Jiang Yan smoothed his brows, “You’re so outstanding, it’s normal for someone to like you. Even if you didn’t get involved, it might have been the same.”

Jun Shen was speechless.

Jiang Yan held his hand, walking along the coast, saying, “Jun Shen, let’s not dwell on the past, we should look forward!”

“Okay!”
