Future Phone – Part Two

“Hehe, that’s good,” Hao Yunyang nodded with a smile, clearly satisfied with Wan Hongyuan’s arrangements. Glancing at his watch, he said, “It’s 8:30, still an hour before the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Go prepare the car, I’ll check if Chenxin is ready.”

“Understood!” Wan Hongyuan laughed and nodded. Just as he was about to turn and leave, Hao Yunyang suddenly called him back: “Oh, right…”

“What is it?” Wan Hongyuan immediately stopped, lowering the leg he had raised.

“Arrange to pack up the various documents and files from the villa and escort them to the group building. Also,” Hao Yunyang pointed to the desktop computer he had upgraded once again, “have Shi Yu send a few Dragonblade members to deliver this computer intact to the bedroom on the 36th floor of the group headquarters. Absolutely no mistakes!”

“Yes, I understand!” Wan Hongyuan nodded and then left the study.

Over the past eight months, the development of the Jiuxiao Organization had far exceeded everyone’s expectations, including Hao Yunyang himself!

With increasingly clear assessment procedures and standards, Hao Yunyang had completely handed over the evaluation of ordinary members to Zhao Chenxin and Wan Hongyuan six months ago.

Wan Hongyuan would conduct an initial review of the submitted assessment materials, filtering out unqualified individuals, then pass the remaining materials to Zhao Chenxin for a secondary review. Once Zhao Chenxin completed her review, the process was almost finalized, requiring only Hao Yunyang’s signature to file these individuals’ records and make them official organization members. With this process in place, the review of new members had accelerated several times, and in the short span of half a year, the number of ordinary official members in the Jiuxiao Organization had increased several-fold to six thousand!

Just as Hao Zhenhua had told Hao Yunyang, with China’s population of over a billion, it was understandable to have several thousand genius talents.

Now, the total number of members in the Jiuxiao Organization, including county-level city leaders and management, had exceeded seven thousand. While they couldn’t guarantee that each of these seven thousand were the geniuses Hao Zhenhua spoke of, they had been carefully screened, so at least two to three thousand were likely to be exceptional. This meant the organization now encompassed nearly one-tenth of China’s talented individuals!

Of course, these data were merely Hao Yunyang’s idle speculation and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.

It’s worth mentioning that the registration of the Xiaojiu Group went smoothly. Nominally, it had only three subsidiary companies: Jiuxiao Graphic Design Co., Ltd., Jiuxiao Network Technology Co., Ltd., and the now-renamed Jiuxiao Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly Longtian Group).

While these three companies were subsidiaries of Jiuxiao Group, they were subsidiaries in name only. They operated independently, requiring no attention from Hao Yunyang, merely serving as a nominal attachment to facilitate the group’s registration.

In essence, the Jiuxiao Group was essentially a shell company. Apart from its headquarters, it had little substantive content. However, this headquarters was connected to thousands of companies and enterprises nationwide.

Because this building was actually the office building of the Jiuxiao Organization!

Except for Hao Yunyang as the core leader, the Dragonblade team became the group’s security department, the special operations camp became the human resources department, and the Jiuxiao Organization’s archives department became the group’s archives department – all renamed and disguised.

Moreover, all employees in the group building, except for the closely monitored cleaning staff, were members inducted into the Jiuxiao Organization. Typically, those working at the headquarters for six months, a year, or several years would be transferred to provincial or regional leadership positions, enriching various aspects of the organization.

In short, this detailed operational process, according to Hao Zhenhua, was the result of discussions with experts he consulted for a few hundred dollars, and its feasibility was unquestionable.

Of course, while this approach might deceive ordinary people, it couldn’t fool those with far-reaching influence. Even if they knew the true nature of the Jiuxiao Group, they could only stand by and watch, because by this time, the Jiuxiao Organization was no longer something anyone could easily interfere with.

Moreover, guided by Hao Zhenhua, Hao Yunyang had already connected with a high-ranking central leader, contributing a significant yet not overly shocking amount of technical information, successfully becoming a focus of central attention. Under such circumstances, who would dare to step forward and cause trouble?

Although Hao Yunyang was somewhat disdainful of contributing materials in exchange for official protection, under China’s national conditions, this was the only choice. After all, Hao Yunyang never intended to oppose the state or develop a large group of super soldiers to start a war and claim territory. His small ideal was actually quite mild – to live comfortably and well!

“What are you thinking about?” He entered the bedroom softly and immediately saw Zhao Chenxin, who had changed into a West Lai short skirt professional outfit, standing blankly in front of the mirror. Seeing her appearance, Hao Yunyang couldn’t help but chuckle lightly, interrupting her thoughts.

“I’m wondering if we’ll be busier after the group is established,” Zhao Chenxin said with a somewhat gloomy expression, unconsciously adjusting her bangs as Hao Yunyang entered.

“Silly girl, isn’t establishing the group meant to liberate us?” Hao Yunyang recalled Zhao Chenxin’s dedication to the Jiuxiao organization over the past two years and his initial promise to her. He walked over, embracing her gently and said softly: “In another period of time, no, within three months!”

He paused briefly before continuing: “Three months from now, regardless of whether the group headquarters is on track, I promise to take you on a trip. The weather in Normandy would be perfect.”

“Really?” Zhao Chenxin’s eyes sparkled brilliantly.

“Of course,” Hao Yunyang nodded firmly, then patted her head and said, “But now, you need to come with me. Liu Ming and the others are probably already waiting.”

“Mm!” Receiving a definite promise from Hao Yunyang, Zhao Chenxin’s mood improved. As she turned to grab her handbag, Hao Yunyang’s soft words made her freeze: “Let’s get married after we return from our trip.”

A very gentle sentence – the one Zhao Chenxin had most hoped to hear over the past year.

She stood frozen, and after a long moment, tears welled up. She playfully retorted, “Who wants to marry you? How shameless!

Hao Yunyang’s unremarkable joke elicited a burst of laughter from everyone, who then surged out onto the open ground outside the hall.

This ribbon-cutting ceremony, in terms of scale, might rank near the top in China, but its influence was absolutely low!

Over two hundred members of the Tyrannosaurus and Special Operations teams were spread around the group headquarters, politely blocking all media reporters who had rushed over at the slightest hint of news, keeping them three hundred meters away – nobody was getting any closer!

Perhaps this could be considered the most low-key ribbon-cutting ceremony in China?

It wasn’t that Hao Yunyang deliberately wanted to tease the media reporters or engage in any sensationalist publicity. Rather, it was because many things inside the group were specially custom-assembled, with research value that was difficult to estimate. If someone accidentally photographed and published something, drawing unwanted attention, it would be truly counterproductive.
