Future Phone – Part Two

“Hehe,” seeing everyone nod, Hao Yunyang lightly chuckled and continued: “But there’s one point I need to clarify with most people here. Jiuxiao is a vertically managed organization where regional directors oversee provincial-level directors and below, and provincial-level directors oversee city-level directors and below. So, those directly responsible to me are the directors of each region.”

After pausing for a moment, Hao Yunyang slowly revealed the true intent of his words: “Today, the reason I invited you to the headquarters is to understand the process. I hope you can use this as a reference for handling various events. After this banquet, deputy regional directors and regional directors can visit headquarters at any time. Provincial-level and deputy provincial-level directors who want to come to headquarters or contact me directly need to follow a procedure. I believe you all understand this now?”

Everyone nodded in unison. Although Hao Yunyang’s tone and demeanor seemed casual, this did not mean these people dared to respond carelessly. They could only listen carefully, remember carefully, and answer carefully.

“City-level liaison personnel and below,” Hao Yunyang reiterated, “are not permitted to contact headquarters or appear at headquarters without written approval from deputy provincial-level directors and above! This is the rule. Have you all remembered?”

The last words were spoken with raised volume, and with the surround sound system, it vibrated everyone’s eardrums slightly. Immediately following was an even louder and unified response: “Remembered!”

Hao Yunyang paused for a moment and then said: “One more thing: for companies that have been invested in, the 18th to 22nd floors of headquarters are specifically for handling company matters. If a company needs resources, technology, information, and so on, they can contact directly without going through organizational procedures. Understood?”

“Understood!” The previous worries of the attendees dissipated, and they responded in unison.

“Very good.”

Hao Yunyang smiled and nodded, casually raising his hand: “Let’s start the meal.”

He then turned to Wan Hongyuan and nodded, saying: “Call in the servers and take good care of them with good wine and food.”

Except for the few rules Hao Yunyang had reiterated, which made everyone slightly nervous, the rest of the banquet was quite harmonious. It continued noisily until after three in the afternoon before everyone dispersed.

That night, sitting with old friends like Liu Ming, Chen Pingping, and Kong Lingqiu, free from their usual identity constraints, they had a wild night. Hao Yunyang, who was already drunk when the afternoon banquet ended, directly passed out on the dining table, unable to remember how he got home.

The only thing Hao Yunyang remembered was Chen Pingping and Zhou Junqiang’s happy little appearance. The two seemed much more relaxed at this gathering, perhaps due to their changed social status or increased wealth, making them bolder. In any case, they were the most boisterous at this gathering.

On the third day after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Hao Yunyang and Zhao Chenxin packed their belongings, moved out of the suburban villa, and into the 36th floor of Jiuxiao Group headquarters, entering their luxuriously decorated private world.

The vacant suburban villa was rented to Chen Pingping and Zhou Junqiang for one yuan per year under Zhao Chenxin’s decision, letting them build their love nest. A completely wasteful act, but Hao Yunyang laughed and praised her for being thrifty.

The day after moving into headquarters, Hao Yunyang and Zhao Chenxin had settled into their new work environment. Well, or more accurately, Hao Yunyang was tinkering with his computer in pajamas and slippers, while Zhao Chenxin entered the 33rd floor for normal work.

In the blink of an eye, the three months Hao Yunyang promised had quietly passed in busy work.

During these three months, Jiuxiao headquarters’ standardized operations had completely gotten on track. Zhao Chenxin, under Hao Yunyang’s guidance, began intentionally and unintentionally delegating tasks to Su Jingchen, letting her gradually become familiar with the procedures.

Time quickly arrived at September 30, 2012. Mid-Autumn Festival.

Then, recalling Zhao Chenxin’s actions over the past three months, a long-premeditated shocking conspiracy gradually took shape in Su Jingchen’s mind. Therefore, when she came out of Zhao Chenxin’s office, she had already determined that Hao Yunyang and Zhao Chenxin’s honeymoon trip was absolutely a deliberate, planned, and purposeful conspiracy!

And she, Su Jingchen, had become the shield for these two during their honeymoon. Helpless as she was, things still had to be done, and life had to go on. Moreover, Hao Yunyang and Zhao Chenxin hadn’t taken Wang Shiyu with them – which was a small consolation for Su Jingchen. Still good, still good.

“Yunyang, do you think Jingchen will be angry with us?” Sitting on the plane to Normandy, Zhao Chenxin wrapped her arms around Hao Yunyang’s arm and asked uncertainly.

“Who wouldn’t be angry!” Hao Yunyang, already prepared, chuckled and replied: “We just ran off like this, leaving so many group matters on her shoulders. How could she be comfortable?”

“What should we do?” Hearing Hao Yunyang’s words, Zhao Chenxin became worried. Usually, her relationship with Su Jingchen was quite good. Among her few female friends, Su Jingchen was like a sister. Having put Su Jingchen in a difficult position, what if the resentment doesn’t dissipate? Her face showed anxiety.

“Besides being cold, what else do you want to do?” Looking at Zhao Chenxin’s worried expression, Hao Yunyang laughed heartlessly, pulled out his hand to pat Zhao Chenxin’s head, and comforted: “Don’t worry, Jingchen is a sensible girl. Besides, we’ve seen her performance these past two months, right? As long as she doesn’t make a big mistake, she can handle it.”

“I’m not talking about that!” Zhao Chenxin rolled her eyes.

“I know, I know.” Before Zhao Chenxin could finish, Hao Yunyang laughed and continued: “You’re afraid she’ll be angry and ignore you in the future, right?”

“Yes!” Zhao Chenxin quickly nodded. Honestly, she did have this worry.

“Hehe, put your heart at ease. It won’t happen,” Hao Yunyang smiled confidently: “One of Jingchen’s good points is that she doesn’t hold grudges overnight. She has a kind heart. It won’t get to that point.”

“Oh, right!” Zhao Chenxin suddenly realized and kept nodding.

Su Jingchen was indeed an open-minded and kind girl. Of course, this was also one of the reasons why Hao Yunyang chose to leave everything to her while taking Zhao Chenxin to travel the world.

What was that saying again? The kind are bullied… Alas, poor little Su.

After flying for over nine hours, they finally arrived in France. This time, Hao Yunyang traveled light, carrying only several tens of thousands of euros in cash and a Swiss bank card. The rest of the luggage was carried by four Raptor team members.

According to this trip’s route, the first stop would be Normandy, France, followed by Italy, Germany, Poland, Norway, Iceland… The route would pass through a total of 89 countries, estimated to take between 260 to 330 days.

These group companies almost all share a very obvious characteristic – within a year, those with few assets multiplied three to four times, while those with more multiplied dozens of times!

This is a miracle, a business miracle happening in China!

Su Jingchen would regularly report to Hao Yunyang and Zhao Chenxin, who were abroad, about the development of the Jiuxiao organization over the past week, and then bring out matters she was uncertain about for Hao Yunyang and Zhao Chenxin to decide.
