Future Phone – Part Two

“Thank you, Uncle Liu, for helping me,” the young man on the other end of the phone seemed pleasantly surprised, hurriedly saying, “After the task is completed, I will definitely send a generous gift!”

“Hmm,” Liu Hu didn’t bother with pleasantries, nodded slightly and responded casually, “But there’s one thing I need to make clear. My capabilities are concentrated in Qinghai. This time I’m going to Zhejiang to handle the matter. You must thoroughly investigate, and if any intelligence you provide turns out to be problematic…”

Liu Hu didn’t finish his sentence, but the young man on the other end naturally understood, quickly saying, “Don’t worry, I’m in Qingcheng right now. My father’s close friends are here, and I won’t provide any unconfirmed intelligence to you, Uncle Liu.”

“Hmm,” Liu Hu made a noncommittal sound, looking somewhat lazy, but no one would dare to underestimate him.

“The current investigation is not yet clear. Just wait for my message,” the young man on the phone said. “As soon as I find out anything, I’ll notify you to take action. Once we catch those responsible and avenge my father, you can hand them over to me, and I’ll deal with them myself…”

“Enough. I don’t need you to tell me how to do things,” Liu Hu coldly snorted and hung up the phone.

After hanging up, Liu Hu narrowed his eyes, gently stroking the jade ring on his thumb, a glint of coldness in his eyes: “Young master of the Dai family, do you really think I don’t know what you want? Hmph, avenging your father, what an uninteresting excuse.”

In a hotel room in Yueqing, Dai Chengwei gently put down his phone, a meaningful smile playing on his face, muttering to himself, “Since you’re so uncooperative, don’t blame me for being ruthless.”

“Young Master Dai, do we need Liu Hu to intervene?” A thin man standing next to Dai Chengwei raised an eyebrow. “And haven’t we already found out who it is? Ye Huan has already told us…”

“Ye Huan is just a dog,” Dai Chengwei casually glanced at the thin man. “A dog that might bite its master at any moment. I heard that a ten-kilogram piece of thousand-year-old Taisui recently appeared in the European market.”
