Lone Hawk

As he rushed to the intersection, Jiang Xiangyang saw a small figure ahead. He immediately hit the brakes. The figure dashed forward, almost throwing herself into his arms. She was only as tall as his chest, her ice-cold face pressed against him, arms wrapped around his waist through his coat. Taking a deep breath, Jiang Xiangyang finally pushed her away.

Suddenly leaving the warm embrace, a cold wind blew harshly on her face. Jingxin stood blankly, her hands twisting together. Jiang Xiangyang noticed she was wearing a thin nightgown, barefoot without socks, her fine white feet in summer slippers, and tear marks on her face.

He sighed, took off his coat, and draped it over her shoulders. Unexpectedly, her arm circled his neck, and her cool lips gently landed on his, clumsily moving.

Chapter Twenty-Four: I Want to Marry You

Like a strong electric current rushing through his body, Jiang Xiangyang trembled, his mind blank. His hand gripped her waist, lifting her head to let her cooperate, as a passionate electric spark surged between them. His lips met hers forcefully, hot breath rushing forward.

The dynamic shifted; Jingxin turned from active to passive, awkwardly responding. Jiang Xiangyang seemed dissatisfied with this shallow kiss, wanting more. His tongue slipped into her mouth, twisting and sucking, entangling with hers.

They waited for a thousand years, dry wood finally meeting fire, Adam finding Eve, a man finding the rib extracted to create a woman. Jingxin knew she had finally found him.

Whether he was a street hoodlum, a talented university genius, or a penniless nobody, Jiang Xiangyang attracted her irresistibly. She could not resist the magic radiating from him and found herself moving closer.

Like being alone on a pitch-black sea until finally seeing a glimmer of light in the distance, Jiang Xiangyang was this warm light. The spark of love was planted the moment she learned every detail about him.

The kiss continued until they were about to suffocate, and Jiang Xiangyang finally released her. After what felt like an eternity, she breathed fresh air again, only to be tightly embraced by him. He disregarded any inner conflicts and, in that moment, only wanted to hold her close, wishing to embed her in his embrace.
