Love’s Serious Moment

Tang was chatting when the secretary suddenly called on the internal line: ”Mr. Tang, Miss Zhou Yunxi is outside requesting to see you. Should I let her in?” Oh oh… Shi Zhongcheng’s expression was between a smile and not, finding the situation increasingly interesting! He subtly observed Xiao Susu, noticing her eyes filled with panic and bewilderment, her body gradually stiffening in Tang Hua’s embrace. Tang Hua remained unmoved, focusing on his wife’s reaction, carefully savoring her emotional changes, a subtle smile playing at the corner of his mouth. Not bad, it seems Tang Hua’s romantic path will be smoother this time. [Poetic verse omitted for brevity]

The lunch for five people was extraordinarily strange. Apart from Shi Zhongcheng watching with a spectator’s attitude, everyone else had different thoughts, each feeling uncomfortable, making the delicious lunch lose its flavor, barely comparable to chewing wax. Zhou Yunxi casually invited Xue Qian to eat jelly, seemingly unintentionally looking at Xiao Susu: “I thought you couldn’t stand Taipei’s polluted atmosphere and have been living in Taichung. How long do you plan to stay this time?” ”I—” Always ready to answer, Xiao Susu was interrupted by Tang Hua. ”My wife’s health has improved recently, so she’s decided to stay long-term. It’s not good for a family to always live separately.” Xiao Susu smiled at him, delighted by the message suggesting he wanted her to stay. He must not dislike her, right?

Stone Zhongcheng was truly enlightened; originally intending to watch a free father-son confrontation, he unexpectedly witnessed the usually quiet and reserved child he had helped raise for three to four years transform into a powerful and merciless military commander when fighting! Normally, this was completely imperceptible.

Wow! He couldn’t help but give a thumbs up to Tang Hua.

Tang Hua slightly nodded, looking at his son whose smile was gradually fading while nestled in his wife’s arms. He understood how strongly his son felt about protecting his mother, but Tang Xue was usually indifferent to aunts and such. Why would he behave this way today? He never had the notion of insisting his parents live together.

The son was looking at him.

He asked, “Don’t you like Aunt Zhou?”

“Dad seems not to like her either.”
