Such a terrifying possibility – Yan Yan didn’t want to hear a single word about it from her mouth!
Chen Jing saw he was reluctant to leave and didn’t want to say more, closing her eyes to think.
She needed to teach him a lesson to calm her anger.
After leaving the hospital, Chen Jing’s first task was to move.
Yan Yan followed her, causing trouble, crying uncontrollably, absolutely refusing to let her pack and leave.
He resorted to every possible method, even skipping work, just constantly watching her.
He pleaded with red eyes: “As long as you stay, I’ll do anything.”
Chen Jing’s heart stirred, raising an eyebrow: “Really?”
Yan Yan hastily nodded: “Really.”
“Okay,” Chen Jing decisively let go, taking out her phone and showing him a photo, “Is he handsome?”
Yan Yan saw the man on the screen, his heart dropping, face turning pale: “Why are you asking this?”
“I quite like him. Help me invite him over.”
Yan Yan’s mind went blank, then filled with anger. He furiously spun around, kicking over a nearby stool: “You’re dreaming!”
Chen Jing watched him calmly.
Yan Yan took a sharp breath, finishing his angry outburst with bloodshot eyes. Seeing her expression, he looked aggrieved, throwing himself to hug her slim waist, rubbing his head: “Jing Jing, you can punish me however you want, just don’t say these things to provoke me. I’ll go crazy.”
Chen Jing didn’t want to comfort him, coldly laughing and suddenly pushing him away.
“If you don’t want a divorce, get out yourself.”
Her attitude was firm. Yan Yan begged for a long time without success. When she occasionally looked at him with a fleeting expression of disgust, Yan Yan’s heart ached, not daring to continue confronting her, and moved out.
Chen Jing ignored him for an entire month. Yan Yan felt miserable.
He stopped eating, watching his phone, continuously calling and texting her.
But no matter how he tried, the phone was never answered, messages disappeared into a void. Yan Yan bit his lip, his frustration growing deeper.
The people he hired to track her reported she was living her life normally, seemingly happier without him.
Yan Yan’s heart ached, feeling like thousands of ants were gnawing at his heart, turning his face deathly pale.
He took a haggard selfie and sent it to Chen Jing.
Time crawled by. After ten minutes, there was no response.
Yan Yan clutched his chest, suddenly tasting a metallic sweetness and coughing up blood.
Yan Yan had never been so clear that Chen Jing truly didn’t want him anymore. Tears covering his face, he suppressed his grief and fear, stumbling out to drive and find her. He couldn’t bear it anymore. Driving, he was panic-stricken, repeatedly calling Chen Jing, hoping she’d answer.
Miraculously, a call went through! “Honey…” Yan Yan started crying immediately, apologizing incoherently, “I was wrong, I truly know I was wrong, please don’t leave me…”
Chen Jing was silent. However, before she could speak, Yan Yan seemed to despair, suddenly shouting through tears: “Chen Jing, I warn you, you’re mine. This life, next life, and every life after, you’ll never leave me! I’m coming now. If you dare chase me away, I’ll die right in front of you!”
Chen Jing was stunned, then laughed from anger: “Are you threatening me?”
Yan Yan fiercely gritted his teeth: “I am threatening you. Chen Jing, we’re married. Don’t even think about leaving me!”
Chen Jing, furious, blurted out: “Married, huh? Fine, come over. I’ll pack right now and go to the civil affairs bureau to divorce immediately!”
Yan Yan instantly broke down, madly shouting at her: “Shut up! Shut up!
After dating for so long, this was the first time Yan Yan had gone so crazy arguing with her. Chen Jing’s chest heaved with anger, her face dark. Unwilling to waste more words, she said, “Leave if you can’t handle it!” and immediately hung up.
She was so angry that even after hanging up, she was still fuming. Raising her phone to smash it against the wall, another call came in.
But she never expected that Yan Yan would live broadcast a car crash suicide to her!
As Yan Yan sobbed and viciously said, “Just wait!”, Chen Jing’s expression froze. Just as she was about to speak, a loud bang came from the phone, followed by a scream.
She was stunned: “…Yan Yan?”
There was no response on the other end.
“Yan Yan?!”
Still no response. Chen Jing panicked and rushed downstairs while holding her phone.
Extras Chapter Three: I’ll Listen to You
Yan Yan wasn’t really trying to die; he was just too aggrieved and heartbroken, wanting to use a sympathy ploy to win back Chen Jing’s heart.
So when the car hit the tree, he controlled the force.
As he expected, he hit his head, suffering a mild concussion and a slight leg fracture – not too serious, but requiring hospitalization.
During his recovery, Yan Yan was incredibly happy.
Chen Jing, apart from giving him the cold shoulder, took care of him meticulously and tenderly. Yan Yan was so happy he always slept with a smile.
Unfortunately, the good times didn’t last long. Today, he was discharged from the hospital.
Chen Jing walked ahead expressionlessly. Yan Yan shamelessly tried to hold her hand, and when she didn’t shake him off, he smiled even more sweetly.
However, as soon as they entered, Chen Jing pulled away her hand and suddenly slapped him!
Yan Yan was stunned for a second, his eyes quickly turning red: “Honey… it hurts…”
“You know pain?” Chen Jing sneered coldly, “Didn’t it not hurt when you crashed the car? Didn’t it not hurt when you were lying in the hospital?”
Yan Yan looked aggrieved but felt relieved that she wasn’t telling him to leave.
“You feel wronged?” Chen Jing trembled with anger, “Just because I gave you the cold shoulder for a month, just because we had a fight, you tried to commit suicide? Yan Yan, are you an idiot?!”
“Honey…” Yan Yan’s eyes filled with tears. He tentatively hugged her waist, and when not stopped, pressed closer, burying his head in her shoulder. “I was wrong. I’ll never do it again, okay?”
Chen Jing growled: “You still want a future?!”
Yan Yan immediately denied: “No, no, I don’t want anything. I only want you.”
Chen Jing snorted.
