The heavy snow had stopped. Yunmei smiled at the brilliant plum blossoms on the mountain. He never imagined he would appreciate them with Jinyu.
The plum blossoms blooming in the snow added color to the white world. Yunmei walked lightly among the flowers, his footsteps crunching in the snow. Watching the blossoms lifted his spirits, creating another beautiful scene in Jinyu’s eyes.
After appreciating the blossoms, Yunmei thought they would return.
Reluctant to leave the elegant landscape, Jinyu took his hand. “Are you happy today?”
Feeling the warmth, Yunmei blushed and lowered his head. “Happy.”
Jinyu held his hand as they walked. “We can come often in the future.”
Yunmei’s heart soared. “Really?”
“Yes.”
“Will my lord come with me?”
“Whenever you want,” Jinyu replied gently.
Yunmei smiled and then hesitantly asked, “If my lord is busy, can I come here alone?”
After a pause, Jinyu finally said, “Okay.”
Yunmei felt hidden happiness, gazing lovingly at Jinyu. Distracted, he tripped and fell forward, but Jinyu caught him promptly, worry in his eyes. How could Jinyu feel at ease letting him come alone? What if he got lost like Xiao Lian in the snowy landscape?
Yunmei fell into Jinyu’s embrace, inhaling his familiar scent. His face blushed as he shyly lowered his head, unaware of Jinyu’s worry and slight annoyance. He awkwardly tried to pull away but was suddenly lifted and carried.
Jinyu brought him ashore and supported him. Yunmei did not rush to change clothes but curiously looked around the stone house. Suddenly, he was pulled over by Jinyu and pressed onto the bed covered in soft silk. Yunmei gasped as Jinyu began kissing his neck.
The heavy breathing in Yun Mei’s ears reminded him of intimate moments with Jin Yu. A thought emerged: Did the wife master want him?
Yun Mei felt a mix of joy, shyness, and worry. Before he could process his emotions, Jin Yu roughly tore off Yun Mei’s wet clothes. Embarrassed, Yun Mei attempted to stop him, urgently whispering, “Wife master… we’re outside… it’s not good if someone sees us… ah…”
His words were silenced by their kiss. Waves of pleasure surged through Yun Mei, leading to soft moans that grew louder. Their breathing became heavy, limbs entangled.
Jin Yu needed to extract the parasite poison from her body, which would lead to uncontrollable desire. The poison, planted by Yun Mei, could only be resolved through intimacy. Jin Yu initially sought to resolve the poison in order to have a child, wanting to connect with Yun Mei. Now, she desired to live happily together, wishing to avoid harming him because of the poison.
Jin Mo knew how to resolve the parasite poison and hoped Yun Mei would accept Jin Yu, even willing to hurt Yun Mei to persuade him. When Jin Yu left, he hoped she would take Yun Mei with her so they could be together.
As time passed, Jin Yu became clear-headed, feeling the poison in her body dissipate. She looked at Yun Mei, who had passed out from exhaustion and pain, his face pale and covered in horrific bruises. The injuries were far more severe than those previously seen on Xu Yi. Jin Yu recalled Yun Mei’s painful cries and attempts to escape, only to be forcibly subdued again and again.
Heartbroken, Jin Yu held Yun Mei close in the hot spring, cleaning his body. Steam rose, leaving a blush on her face, reminiscent of Yun Mei’s shy expressions. Her eyes glimmered with amazement then dimmed at the sight of his devastated body, tenderly caressing his wounds.
Jin Yu dressed Yun Mei and carried him outside, where two individuals waited and respectfully bowed, “Master.”
Jin Yu placed Yun Mei on the horse, ordering, “Return to the mansion.” Yun Mei tried to move out of Jin Yu’s embrace but found she couldn’t.
Looking around the room, she realized she was not in a stone house, but at home in her own room. Yun Mei was still somewhat afraid of Jin Yu, worried that she would try to take him like before.
A thought flashed through his mind. Yun Mei’s eyes filled with fear, and his body began to tremble. This emotional turmoil woke Jin Yu from her sleep. Seeing Yun Mei so terrified, her eyes flickered with hurt and guilt. She tried to comfort him, “Yun Mei, nothing will happen again.”
Yun Mei became frightened, “You… are you really ‘Jin Yu’?”
Jin Yu, confused, did not understand what Yun Mei meant. Seeing her silence, Yun Mei despaired, “Are you the wife master or ‘Jin Yu’?”
Jin Yu paused, suddenly understanding. She caressed Yun Mei’s face, “I am your wife master, the later wife master.”
Tears flowed from Yun Mei’s eyes as he trembled again. “Wife master… is it really you? Who treated me like that? Was it ‘Jin Yu’? Has she come back?”
Jin Yu comforted him tenderly, “It was also me that day. It’s okay. What happened will not happen again.”
Under Jin Yu’s comfort, Yun Mei cried for a while, gradually calming down. He lay quietly on the bed, held in Jin Yu’s embrace.
This was his wife master, not that ‘Jin Yu’.
Yun Mei was happy yet afraid. He didn’t understand why Jin Yu had punished him that day. His body and heart now belonged to the wife master.
Jin Yu stroked his ink-like hair, “Have you been sleeping for two days? Are you still tired?”
Yun Mei, a bit stubborn, replied, “Not tired.”
Jin Yu rarely showed guilt. She asked, “Does your body still hurt?”
Yun Mei blushed, feeling embarrassed. He said, “Not hurting, just feeling sore.”
“It will get better in a few days,” Jin Yu comforted.
Yun Mei looked at her aggrievedly, his eyes dimming and welling with tears, tremblingly voicing, “I want to have your baby…” He longed to give her a child, especially after knowing her identity. They had been together for so long; why couldn’t his body cooperate?
Jin Yu laughed tenderly, lightly touching his nose. “Do you think after that crazy intimate moment, you can’t get pregnant?”
Yun Mei curled up like an abused pet. “What do you mean?”
Jin Yu paused, explaining, “My body was not good, making it difficult for you to get pregnant. But now that we’re fine, you will definitely get pregnant.”
Jin Yu came over to Xu Yi again, and Xu Yi blushed, lowering his head, realizing that Cloud Mei’s Xu Yi is pregnant.
His delicate hand nervously clutched the handkerchief. “Can we not use a pillow?” It was so embarrassing.
Jingyu was stunned, then hugged him, “Okay. Don’t worry, I’ll just stay with you today.”
Xu Yi pulled Jingyu’s sleeve, his eyes slightly wet. “Let’s still use the pillow, I’m fine.” He cherished her gentleness.
Jingyu smiled, realizing how endearing he was. “You’re still weak and need rest.”
“But I…” Xu Yi lowered his head, “Cloud Mei is already pregnant, and I want to have a baby quickly…”
“Once your eyes are healed, we’ll have one.”
Xu Yi’s worry was evident as he leaned into Jingyu’s embrace. “Sometimes I wonder, if I get pregnant, will the baby be blind like me? That would be so pitiful.”
“You need Zi Yuan to treat you, and then you’ll see, and the baby will see too,” Jingyu advised.
Xu Yi looked away. “But if my eyes get better, will you still want me?”
“You’re already my husband; how could I want to leave?”
Xu Yi quickly shook his head. “I’m afraid you’ll abandon me. I can’t manage without you…”
Jingyu stroked his back. “You’re my husband; I’ll always keep you by my side. Zi Yuan will come to treat you tomorrow.”
Xu Yi remained silent. Jingyu sighed internally, “Once your eyes are healed, you’ll see me and our baby.”
Xu Yi’s eyes misted over, distressed: “I don’t want that. What if it can’t be treated? I’m scared…”
“It will be treated,” Jingyu assured him, placing her hand over her belly. “The doctor said you’re pregnant. Zi Yuan says if you cooperate, everything will be fine, and you’ll soon see the baby.”
Xu Yi cried tears of joy, trembling with excitement. “Really, my wife, I’m really pregnant?”
“Yes, you are.”
