Please Be My Princess – Part One

“A-san, Shunzi, take the young master to the club and learn boxing from Master Tang,” his father said to the two bodyguards beside him without paying attention to Tianye.

“Dad… Dad…” Tianye called out desperately behind him, but his father ignored him.

That day, Tianye was almost dragged into the car by the bodyguards, leaving the villa. He tried to struggle, but to no avail.

He sat in the back of the car, leaning against the window, watching the servants’ flat-roofed house grow distant. Although he was only leaving home for a day, he felt particularly heavy. This forced separation tugged at his heart, which had already been entangled with Meiyou.

Tianye, who usually loved boxing class, was unusually listless that day. The master noticed and came to ask what was wrong. Tianye glared fiercely at Master Tang, “Old man, you’re teaching me, and now I can’t even see Meiyou.” He launched a series of boxing combinations at the master.

The master was, after all, a master, not one of the subservient bodyguards of the Tian family. He was pushed to the ground by Tianye and stood up, saying, “You’re not happy? Good, come on, the master will practice with you.”

Tianye’s anger was provoked, and he stretched out his fist to hit the master hard.

Master Tang didn’t hold back either, and he struck back. After several rounds, Tianye was already dizzy.

But this only brought him more excitement, and he fought back with all his might. That day, they fought intensely in the training room. The bodyguards outside could hear Master Tang’s stern shouts, “Come on, get up! Aren’t you great? Aren’t you angry? Come at me!”

Then Tianye leaped up, his fist squarely aimed, “Ah… Ah” charging towards the master.

They fought fiercely, and Tianye was fully immersed.

Time passed quickly, and it was time to leave school. Tianye changed his clothes and ran to the car, telling the driver to return to the villa.

The car arrived at the servants’ flat-roofed house in the courtyard. Tianye jumped out of the car, shouting, “Meiyou… Meiyou… I’m back! I’ll take you to build sandcastles at the beach and catch shrimp.” He ran quickly towards Meiyou and her mother’s room.
