Please Be My Princess – Part One

Reaching the door, Tianye pushed it open, “Meiyou… we…” He looked inside and saw it was completely empty, with things scattered everywhere. All the items were gone, and the people were gone.

Tianye slowly walked in, looking at the small, damp room and the scattered objects. On the table, there was a note left by Meiyou.

“Tianye ge-ge, Mom and I are leaving. The days with you were very happy. I will miss you.” These few simple words, written by a 6-year-old who had just learned to write, expressed Meiyou’s heartache and their relationship.

Tianye cried looking at the note. The cold and domineering ice prince shed his cold tears. He ran out, wiping the tears from the corner of his eyes and biting his lip as he returned to the villa.

“Bang,” Tianye kicked open the door to his father’s study.

His father was discussing matters with his subordinates and was shocked by Tianye’s actions. Although Tianye had always been mischievous, he was well-behaved and never impulsive. But today…

Tianye stepped forward and shouted at his father, “Where’s Meiyou? Where’s Meiyou?” His voice was so hoarse and rough that it was hard to believe it came from a six-year-old child.

His father gestured to the subordinates, who took their documents and left the study. Only the father and son remained, with only the sound of Tianye’s heavy breathing filling the air.

Tianye, seeing no response from his father, began to roar again. He ran to his father’s desk and threw all the documents on the floor, “I’m asking you, where’s Meiyou? Where is she?”

His father suppressed his anger and reached out to touch Tianye’s head. “Her mother broke two large plates while washing dishes at noon. According to the rules, the housekeeper fired her. So, Meiyou left with her mother.”

Tianye didn’t believe him, pushing away his father’s hand, “You’re lying. You just don’t want me to be with her.”

His father sat back in the leather chair and said, “You and Meiyou are not from the same world. You cannot interact with her.” He slammed his hand on the desk.

Tianye pointed at his father, “I knew it was you. Why? Why won’t you let me play with her? She’s my friend.” Then he crouched down on the ground, crying.
