He gestured for her to enter, then casually closed and locked the door.

He turned and walked towards the bathroom, a smile slowly emerging at the corner of his mouth.
Her lips were incredibly sweet! He liked her lips – perhaps too much. He frowned, disliking this feeling of losing control.
He would not allow anyone to control his heart! The bloody lesson from his parents, he should not and could not forget. That tragedy was like a continuous series, replaying in his dreams every night.
The pain was like fire marks, still clearly branded on his body.
