Dinner: Ximen Xu and Jones returned to the villa. They came back early because Ximen Xu wanted to see the good show between Dean and Ye Ye. After all, it was unprecedented for Dean to indulge a woman so much; how could he not come to watch? When a dog followed Dean, who was holding Ye Ye, into the room, both Ximen Xu and Jones were taken aback. It was well-known that Dean did not like animals in the house… Watching Dean sit down at the dining table with Ye Ye in his arms, and the dog squatting at their feet wagging its tail… neither of them knew what to say… “Come here, Baron, say hello to uncle!” Ye Ye, nestled in Dean’s arms, pointed at Ximen Xu and Jones. “Woof, woof!” The dog barked cooperatively. After dinner, Dean, Ximen Xu, and Jones discussed work in the study. Ye Ye, after finishing her routine calls to family and friends, sighed in relief; thankfully, almost all her friends and family had something else to do during her recovery. Ye Ye, bored, lay in the small living room between the study and her bedroom, playing with Baron. The dog was very obedient, not barking out of turn, allowing Ye Ye to toss it around, making joyful whimpers…
