The First Demon Empress

I was clearly aware of how terrifying my expression was, as this was a tactic I had used in negotiations.

I looked at her coldly, slowly pointing to the bed beside me.

Miss, he—” My words seemed to have done nothing to alleviate her worry, and my half-spoken voice now carried a hint of surprise.

I followed his voice and looked towards the doorway, where the man stood coldly, wearing a smile that seemed to have risen from the dead, yet mixed with an undeniable coldness and an innate imposing presence that demanded submission.

His face had distinct, sharp lines, deep features, and a physique more robust than an average man. Although his gray clothing was tattered and worn, with visible signs of injury where the fabric was torn, his inherent aura remained unmaskable.

He gazed at me with profound, cold eyes, harboring indescribable emotions, simply standing there without uttering a word, seemingly sizing me up.

I glanced at him; his complexion looked good, seemingly recovered.

“Who are you?

“His voice was slightly hoarse but much more commanding than before, the irresistible magic in his presence reaching its peak.

I looked up at him again. If he didn’t have something special, I generally wouldn’t remember his appearance—seen and forgotten. Although I didn’t recall much of his looks, I knew I could never forget those eyes burning with desire in this lifetime.

“Irrelevant person!” I answered lazily. The long hours had exhausted me, and now seeing him, my entire being relaxed. I no longer had the energy to answer his unnecessary questions and just wanted to rest.

My eyelids grew heavier, and I no longer wanted to pretend. My eyes slowly closed as I lay back in the chair, surrendering to gravity.

I vaguely heard someone say: “You’re heartless enough, hard enough, perfectly suited to my conditions. I’ll make you the most unique person in the world. Consider this my reward for saving me.” A voiceless tone, yet carrying an inexplicable tenderness, whispered near my ear.

I felt incredibly light, my body completely relaxed and comfortable, enveloped in an intoxicating warmth. A warmth I had never experienced before slowly made me lose consciousness.
