The Trap of the Noble CEO

Standing on the sidewalk, Andoli stared at the car moving further away. Just as she was feeling frustrated and helpless, a black sedan across the street caught her attention.

It was Hanano Zenji! He hadn’t gotten on the SUV and was about to get into the sedan!

“Hanano!” Seeing him about to get into the car and leave, Andoli screamed with all her might.

Hanano Zenji, already seated in the car, heard the familiar voice from across the street and instinctively looked for its source. As he looked up, he made eye contact with Andoli.

It was Andoli! How could she be here? Shouldn’t she still be sleeping soundly in bed?

A complex and unusual emotion rippled in his heart.

“Mr. Hanano, shall we stop?” Although the engine was already running, the driver, seeing Andoli across the street, asked considerately.

A hesitant look crossed his eyes. For a moment, Hanano Zenji almost agreed to the driver, but his calmness and rationality ultimately suppressed that slight desire.

“No need to pay attention to her, let’s go!” he gave a calm, cold order.

“Yes.” The driver respectfully agreed and pressed the accelerator, moving forward.

Seeing the car start, Andoli was startled and immediately used her fastest speed to run across the street, following his car.

Hanano Zenji couldn’t believe this young woman was so crazy!

Narrowing his eyes, he looked through the rearview mirror and saw her gasping for breath, clearly unable to run anymore, but her expression still full of determination and resolve to persist.

“Drive slower,” Hanano Zenji told the driver.

On this short stretch of road, Andoli bumped into two pedestrians, fell once, and was even barked at by dogs. When she almost collided with a small car, Hanano Zenji finally felt he couldn’t watch anymore.

“Stop!” he commanded the driver, and the car pulled over to the roadside.

Hanano Zenji got out of the car and walked to her with a stern face.

“What are you doing! Are you trying to get yourself killed?” Hanano Zenji finally dropped all his coldness and arrogance, shouting at her.

This feeling made him uncomfortable, as if he had lost something in front of others, leaving himself vulnerable.

“Sor-sorry!” She stopped running, her face pale as paper. After a sudden violent sway, she fell into his broad, solid chest.
