Halfway through her words, a sudden sound of something heavy falling into the water rang in her ears. Tao Yu was stunned, and in the next second, she saw a prisoner’s clothing in the water, and the man beside her had disappeared.
“Fuck your ancestors, Yue Linze!” Tao Yu roared, untying her belt and rushing into the water, stripping off her clothes and shoes, quickly jumping into the sea wearing only a chest wrap and underwear.
Yue Linze wasn’t swimming fast, as if deliberately waiting for her. Tao Yu quickly caught up and grabbed him. Yue Linze wrapped his arms around her, easily pulling her slender waist into his embrace. Tao Yu tried to drag him up, but Yue Linze held her, seemingly intent on drowning together.
As Tao Yu struggled, a sudden panic seized her. She kicked desperately, her air turning into bubbles escaping her mouth. Just as she was about to suffocate, Yue Linze looked at her with a smile and finally pressed her head towards him, passing the oxygen from his mouth to hers.
Tao Yu immediately forgot everything else. Her survival instinct made her grip Yue Linze’s collar, desperately trying to find a breath from his mouth.
After giving her all his air, Yue Linze released her. They surfaced together, and Tao Yu gasped for breath.
Her face was red, whether from lack of oxygen or anger, her eyes burning with a fire that seemed ready to reduce Yue Linze to ashes. “Yue Linze, are you crazy?!”
“Who told you not to believe me? If I don’t prove it, wouldn’t you always look down on me?” Yue Linze complained with an aggrieved expression.
Tao Yu was stunned for a moment, then her anger erupted. She couldn’t help but curse, “Prove what? Prove that you dare to escape prison? Are you insane? Crazy?!” His lung capacity and the strength with which he dragged her proved he could have swum faster, yet he was easily caught, clearly not intending to escape.
