Tao Yu left, bewildered. Her big boss suddenly wanted aged tea, so she had to obey and find some. Unfortunately, no one usually drank it, so it could only be found in the warehouse. She found someone to take her there.
As soon as she left the room, the butler entered and nodded to Yue Linze: “It’s done.”
Yue Linze said nothing, again activating the wiretapping device on his phone.
Management butler carefully glanced at Yue Linze’s expression, frowning and saying: “I believe Miss Tao is not that kind of person. Perhaps she is just playing with him. What do you think? After all, the salary we gave her of fifty thousand is barely enough.”
Yue Linze’s response was silence. The butler sighed inwardly, staring more intently at his phone, thinking that only Miss Tao herself could prove this matter through her actions.
Yue Linying narrowed his eyes: “Is Miss Tao so easy to talk to?”
“What else can I do if I’m not easy to talk to? You already have evidence. If I don’t agree, you won’t let me stay here, right?” Tao Yu raised an eyebrow.
Yue Linying smiled: “Miss Tao’s words don’t sound too friendly. Cooperation must satisfy both parties. With Miss Tao’s current state, I’m afraid we don’t need to continue talking.”
“Do you think I’m being stubborn?” Tao Yu looked at him in surprise, then laughed after a while. “Mr. Linying is quite the joker. What adult would get upset over something like this? I said, as long as you pay me more, I’m willing to work for you.”
Yue Linying stared at Tao Yu, his vigilance still not lowered: “Really?”
“Of course it’s true,” Tao Yu gave him a sideways glance. “You’ve probably already investigated. I need money, very much so. As long as you pay me, I don’t care who the employer is.”
Hearing her speak so frankly about her disloyalty, the butler was stunned: “Miss Tao, how can you be like this? You seemed like a good person, but your bottom line is so low. You’re willing to take anyone’s money. Aren’t we paying you enough?”
