Yandere Begs for a Break – Part One

It was a pity. The listening device proved Tao Yu wasn’t sent by any party, but also showed she wasn’t resolute. Yue Linying’s small favors could make her betray, so such a person should either be used or absolutely not kept close to the master.

Yue Linze didn’t answer his question, seeming unconcerned. After a moment of silence, the door opened and Tao Yu walked in smiling: “Mr. Yue, your aged tea.”

Yue Linze looked at her calmly, his black eyes seeming to penetrate her soul. Tao Yu paused, walking over uncertainly.

“I’ll take it,” the butler immediately took the tea leaves and went to brew tea.

Yue Linze continued staring at her. Tao Yu blinked, laughing awkwardly: “What’s wrong?”

“You have something to say?” Yue Linze asked.

Tao Yu was confused, about to speak, but felt Yue Linze’s aura turn severe. So her words changed: “Yes, Mr. Yue. I just scammed Linying out of 15 million!”

As soon as she finished, a sound of a cup hitting the glass table was heard. When she looked over, the butler apologized: “Sorry, my hands are unsteady with age.”

Tao Yu smiled understandingly. When she wasn’t looking, a curve appeared at the corner of Yue Linze’s mouth, quickly disappearing as if he had never smiled. If that could be called a smile.

“What happened?” he asked.

Tao Yu turned back, thought for a moment, and recounted the entire event candidly, like an innocent child.

After finishing, her mouth was dry. Just then, the butler handed her a glass of water, which she drank, catching her breath: “I hope Mr. Yue doesn’t think I’m acting on my own. It’s just that he seems to already know I’m an imposter. If I didn’t play along, he might expose this matter.”

The butler nodded repeatedly: “Miss Tao did very well. If Linying reveals this, it would cause great trouble for the master.”

“That’s good,” Tao Yu laughed. The butler, feeling guilty about his previous malicious speculation, smiled back. These two people, polite above all else, neither stopping first.

The long-silent Yue Linze interrupted them: “Butler, leave.

Yes, sir.” The butler immediately suppressed his smile and walked out seriously.
