Yandere Begs for a Break – Part One

Tao Yu was about to go crazy. Her phone was confiscated, the TV was not allowed by the servants, and her only entertainment was reading. The entire day, except for the maid who brought three meals, she hadn’t seen a single person. Most critically, the maid seemed to have received some kind of order and became mute after entering the room. No matter what questions she asked, she would only respond with a smile. After two or three repetitions, Tao Yu helplessly closed her mouth and fell silent. She must find a way to undo what was in her hands. Otherwise, if this continued, not only would Yue Linze’s psychological problems remain untreated, but she would also develop issues. Finally making it to the evening, Yue Linze still hadn’t returned. She could only stop the cleaning servant and ask, “Do you know when my husband will be back?” The servant smiled at her without answering her question. Tao Yu was already used to this, sighed, and changed her approach: “Where’s my phone? Could you give it to me? I need to call my husband.” The servant was about to smile as usual, but Tao Yu immediately warned, “The master may have forbidden you from talking to me, but he didn’t say he wouldn’t talk to me himself. If he finds out you’re blocking our communication, do you think you can still work here?” With these words, the servant immediately hesitated. With Tao Yu’s continuous threats, he quickly brought her the phone, but stood beside her and watched without leaving. Tao Yu’s mouth twitched, pretending not to notice he was monitoring her, she pulled up Yue Linze’s number and dialed. The phone rang only once before being answered, with Yue Linze’s magnetic voice coming through. …He answered so quickly, as if he had been waiting for her call. Tao Yu’s mouth moved, and she heard Yue Linze say casually, “Speak.” Tao Yu glanced at the servant nearby, who immediately looked straight ahead, pretending not to notice anything. Only then did she relax a bit, suppressing the inexplicable heat rising on her face, and uncomfortably tried to act coquettish: “When are you coming back? I’m the only one in the room, with no one to talk to. I really miss you.” This bastard forbade others from talking to her, and was probably aiming for this exact result. If she was a bit more compliant, she might be able to coax him into removing the chains. In the conference room, Yue Linze glanced at the shareholders below. The shareholders immediately looked at their phones or flipped through documents, pretending their meeting hadn’t been interrupted by a phone call. He curved his lips, his voice softening slightly, “I’ll be home in ten minutes.” The shareholders “…” If we haven’t lost our memory, the meeting just started, right? And CEO, the distance from your company to home seems to be only a ten-minute drive? Although part of her emotions were feigned, Tao Yu was still happy. Even though this guy had locked her up, having someone come back to talk to her would at least make things less boring. ”Then hurry back, I’ll wait for you to have a late-night snack,” Tao Yu laughed, completely forgetting she had just eaten dinner two hours ago. Yue Linze casually acknowledged and hung up the phone, immediately standing up and walking out with a cane, calmly announcing, “Meeting adjourned.” The shareholders who had already told their families they would be home by midnight “…” On the way, the housekeeper in the passenger seat looked at Yue Linze’s expression through the rearview mirror and gently urged the driver, “A bit faster.” ”Yes, Mr. Housekeeper.” The driver stepped on the gas and reduced the ten-minute drive to eight minutes. So before Tao Yu, who had just handed over her phone, could react, Yue Linze had already returned home. ”How are you back so quickly?” Tao Yu ran to the door to greet him, nodded at the housekeeper, then focused her gaze entirely on Yue Linze, showing no embarrassment about the chain on her wrist. Yue Linze looked at him, “You called when I was on the road.” ”So we’re really in sync?” Tao Yu laughed, and after Yue Linze entered, gave him a long hug, burying her face in his chest and murmuring, “I was about to die of boredom being alone at home.” ”I’ll come back earlier tomorrow,” Yue Linze patted her back, everything seeming as familiar as if they had been together for a long time. Tao Yu took a deep breath, maintaining the mood of being in passionate love, then raised her head and smiled, “Have you eaten? I had them prepare a late-night snack.” She paused after speaking, stretching her neck to look at the housekeeper behind Yue Linze, “Housekeeper, have some too. You worked hard today.” The housekeeper’s mouth twitched, putting on a smile, “No need, Miss Yue. I’m getting old and can’t eat too much at night. If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave.” Seeing they didn’t object, he turned and left. He had figured it out – this was just the intimacy between a young couple, and he shouldn’t have interfered. After the housekeeper left, Tao Yu immediately held Yue Linze’s hand and sat at the table, pinching a small cookie and holding it to his mouth, “This cookie is delicious, try it.” Yue Linze least liked sweet foods, but under her enthusiastic invitation, he slightly opened his mouth. Tao Yu immediately fed it to him, looking at him expectantly, “How is it? Tasty?” ”Not bad.” Tao Yu heard this and immediately fed him another. While he was eating, she glanced at the food on the table and pushed the porridge in front of him, “It’s almost time to rest. Eat something easy to digest.” ”Okay.” Yue Linze responded, but showed no intention of eating.
