The meal was half-finished and the wine was at its peak. The conversation became more relaxed, though besides work matters, they seemed to have little else to discuss. Even so, Tao Yu did not feel bored at all, judging their identities from their conversations.
Sure enough, among these people, only Lord Zhao had forward-thinking and unique thoughts, his remarks far beyond the limitations of this era, which was obviously problematic.

Tao Yu calculated the time, finished the last sip of tea in her cup, and smiled at Yue Linze, “I want to use the restroom.”
“I’ll accompany you,” Yue Linze immediately said.
Tao Yu looked at him shyly, “No, I’ll go by myself.”
“The tavern’s restroom is in the courtyard. If you’re afraid, you can ask the innkeeper’s wife to accompany you,” Yue Linze gently advised.
Tao Yu nodded and smiled, secretly pecking his cheek when others weren’t looking, then lowered her head and quickly walked out. Yue Linze stood stunned, subconsciously looking at the people still drinking, and when he saw they hadn’t noticed, he touched his burning cheek and laughed after a while.
This girl was becoming bolder.
After leaving, Tao Yu’s shyness instantly disappeared. Downstairs, she walked to the backyard, took out the shell from her chest, looked at it, and finally placed it on the tavern’s inevitable return path, then hid in a corner and watched the shell.
Wuhuan City was not large, with few residents. Only a few tables of guests were still drinking in the tavern, and few people came out to use the restroom. Those who knew the meaning of this shell were even fewer – she wanted to see if Lord Zhao was that person.
