Food and Farm: Bringing a Prince to Cultivate the Land – Part One

Jiang Yan saw Jun Shen waiting inside along with Qing Yi.

“Miss Jiang, you’re back. My master has been waiting for you for a while.”

Qing Yi approached and said.

He’s been waiting for me?

What for?

Jiang Yan sat down opposite Jun Shen, “Young Master Jun, did you come looking for me for something?”

“Can’t I come if there’s nothing?”

Jun Shen looked up and asked.

That’s quite something to say.

Jiang Yan smiled and said, “Of course you can. I was just curious why you chose this time to come since it’s been a while since you last visited.”

Jun Shen glanced at Qing Yi.

Qing Yi strode towards the carriage outside and soon returned carrying two boxes.

“What are these?”

Jiang Yan asked, examining them.

Jun Shen had Qing Yi open the boxes, which were filled with ingredients for making Buddha Jumps Over the Wall.

So much!

He doesn’t expect me to make all of this, does he?

Just as Jiang Yan was about to ask, Jun Shen looked at her and said, “These are ingredients for Buddha Jumps Over the Wall. My master wants to eat what you make. Can you help make some?”

“Of course.”

Jiang Yan agreed without hesitation.

Jun Shen then said, “We need six jars. You can make the rest for yourselves to eat.”

Rich people.

Jiang Yan smiled and said, “Young Master Jun is generous. Rest assured, I’ll make sure it’s just as delicious as before.”

The girl certainly isn’t shy.

Jun Shen picked up his own teapot and poured tea into his cup, “You go ahead and start.”

He’s going to wait here?

Jiang Yan called for Su Jixiang to help move the boxes to the kitchen and started preparing according to the previous steps.

Her hands moved quickly, and soon several jars were simmering.

“Would you like a cup?”

Jun Shen picked up the untouched cup next to him and poured her some tea.

Jiang Yan took the cup and said, “Young Master Jun, I’m not good at appreciating tea. To me, tea is no different from plain water.”
