“Yeah, I knew you’d choose criminal law, so I came to this group.” Fan Jian’s smile was enough to scare the entire school. Tao Le thought this slogan was the epitome of the 21st century; she couldn’t stand his attempt at a coy, yet disgustingly lewd smile.
Wait, what did he just say? He followed her to this group? “How did you know I chose criminal law?” Tao Le cautiously asked.
“Of course, I know everything about you.” Fan Jian ran his hand through his slick hair, squinting his rat-like eyes, “I also know you chose criminal law for the postgraduate entrance exam, and so did I, just like you.”
The creep, he actually investigated her! Tao Le knew Fan Jian had always harbored impure intentions towards her. She had never provoked him, at least not in the last four years, barely speaking a few words, and never showing any interest. She wasn’t a stunning beauty or had a voluptuous figure like Gu Liwen, but this guy seemed to have taken the wrong medicine, obsessively chasing her since their freshman year. Gu Liwen and the others had mocked her for four years, saying being noticed by Fan Jian was like winning the lottery. Now, it was clear he was preparing for a long-term battle, planning to continue harassing her until she gave in. Tao Le was even starting to waver in her decision to pursue postgraduate studies, and though she never cursed anyone, she sincerely hoped Fan Jian would disappear from her sight.
“Tao Le, do you have time later? I was thinking—”
“Hey, where are they going?” Tao Le deliberately changed the subject, ignoring Fan Jian’s attempt at a deep gaze, and quickly followed the other students as they started to move. She knew Fan Jian had an agenda, never missing a chance to pursue her. Unfortunately for him, she avoided him like the plague. It wasn’t that Tao Le was heartless; she just wasn’t interested in men at the moment, especially not this pH-neutral weirdo. Her life shouldn’t be tied down by a man!
