Myth of Madness

Xu Xian’en was indeed rude, no, she was the very embodiment of rudeness. With a few twists, she pinned him down on the wooden table.

Shen Ben blinked, one hand pressed against the table, one leg under her foot, his collar yanked up roughly by her, her sweet face looming before him, staring at him without blinking.

“Shh…”

“When are you going to roll out of here?” Xu Xian’en glared fiercely.

“I find you both very interesting,” he smiled, then gently removed her hands and feet. “I like to observe strange people; it inspires my creativity, so I’ve decided to stay and observe you.”

Xu Xianqi made a face of disgust, “She is, I’m not.”

“You always wrinkle your nose and cover your mouth when you encounter something annoying,” Shen Ben said, revealing his teeth in a grin while pointing at her actions.

“Listen, high school boy, my intention in saving you wasn’t to let you observe us like monkeys in a zoo!” Xu Xian’en grabbed his collar again, returning to her aggressive stance.

“My name is Shen Ben, and I’m not a high school boy.” He gently moved the lady’s noble hands and feet away once more.

“High school boys are much more approachable!” Xu Xian’en said with a “smile” as he looked at him. “Got any opinions?”

“No… no, what’s your name?”

“Me? My name is Xu Xian’en.” Xu Xian’en gave a cold smile and pointed at the girl behind him, “She’s Xu Xianqi.”

Xu Xianqi slightly furrowed her brows, her nostrils flaring. “Please don’t just tell strangers my full name, okay? I haven’t even come out of my room yet.”

No one paid attention to her complaints, as the two of them were deeply engrossed in their conversation.

“Don’t change the subject, I’m warning you, I’m not here to be gawked at like a monkey in a zoo.” She rolled her eyes.

“That’s an occupational disease.”

“So what? No one wants you to watch, let alone, if you stay here, I’ll have to feed another mouth!” Xu Xian’en said with a sarcastic grin.
