Ou Xueman noted several missed calls. “I wanted some quiet, so I didn’t turn my phone on. I have a drunk woman here shouting that you’re a big idiot and a big bastard. Are you coming, or should I leave her in the parking lot?”
“What woman?” Ou Wen asked, then suddenly exclaimed, “Could it be Tianli? But shouldn’t she be with Xihuang?”
Ou Xueman leaned back in her chair, saying, “I saw her with Di Xihuang, but now that bastard is nowhere to be found. I only see this woman. Don’t ask me to find him; I don’t want to see him.”
Ou Wen was silent for a moment. “You saw him?”
Ou Xueman’s non-answer spoke volumes. He sighed, “Xueman, can you help me take care of her? I’m still in Hong Kong and can’t get there right away. I’ll come to pick her up tomorrow.”
“What does she have to do with me? Why should I take care of her?” Ou Xueman said coldly.
“Tianli is my fiancée, your future sister-in-law,” Ou Wen said anxiously.
“Then you’d better keep an eye on her, or you’ll be wearing a green hat without knowing,” she replied dismissively.
“You mean her and Xihuang? They’re impossible. We’ve been arguing, and when she got angry, she went to SZ city with Xihuang,” Ou Wen said somewhat embarrassed.
Ou Xueman waved her hand. “Forget it. Come pick her up early tomorrow.” She hung up without waiting for more.
She looked at the woman who had fallen into a deep sleep and shook her head, driving towards her home. However, she didn’t expect that tomorrow’s visitors would include not only Ou Wen but also the bastard she claimed she didn’t want to see again.
