Ye Wufeng closed the door. There was one thing he didn’t say out loud: the person he liked was her!
At school, Ye Wufeng was famous as both a heartthrob and a cool guy. Speaking of charm, his hair matched that handsome face which made hearts race, ranking him first among the heartthrobs; when it came to being cool, his indifferent attitude towards everything made him the top cool guy. Being both charming and cool, few girls could escape his allure.
“Classmate Ye, if you still haven’t found someone you like, please go out with me.”
“I’m busy.” Another rejection.
“Big brother, you’re too cruel. That poor girl almost cried,” said Wu Wen, squeezing next to him.
“Mind your own business,” he leaned against the wall. If Feng Feng saw his expression now, she’d never recognize him as her beloved brother.
“Big brother, I’ve heard that the one who’s been sending flowers to Feng Feng’s sister last week is someone from the Wang family in the commercial street, that guy with the big stage.”
“He’s quite a nuisance,” Wufeng said coldly, moving his lips.
After school, Ye Wufeng led his gang to the stage. There were many things he hid from Feng Feng. She always saw him as a simple boy, but behind her back, he was a notorious delinquent.
They won the car of the gang leader with daredevil driving skills, quickly subduing other gang members, making Ye Wufeng the new leader, despite being just a freshman in high school. However, to cover his tracks, he usually wore sunglasses during gang activities.
They quickly found Wang Guoping. Poor guy, even after being beaten by this group of delinquents, he still didn’t know why he had attracted such a disaster.
“You… what… what kind of person are you?”
“None of your business.” Wufeng crossed his arms, lifted his leg, and stepped on Wang Guoping’s right hand, coldly listening to his cries of pain, while the faces of the delinquents around showed no emotion.
“I didn’t break your hand; you should be grateful for my mercy.” He bent down, pointing at his crotch, “Listen up, kid, Ye Feng Feng is a woman you can’t touch!”
“She… is your…”
“She’s my horse.” He said casually.
Standing up, he led his gang away triumphantly.
“I’m back.” Ye Wufeng left the eye-catching FZR in Wu Wen’s garage and rode his bike home.
No one answered. Wufeng, puzzled, went to the living room, where Feng Feng was asleep on the table.
“You’re too tired.” He murmured sympathetically. It was so late, and she was still working on accounts. He bent down, picked her up, and carried her to her room.
She had lost weight, lighter than before. For this family, her twenty-year-old shoulders were already overburdened. Wufeng gently set her down.
Long hair still suits this beautiful face. He gazed at her, the person he loved so deeply, from childhood to now, his intense gaze following only her. His hesitant sister! No, it was because she was too pure. Even in her dreams, she wouldn’t imagine that he had always been fond of her.
To kiss her, would it be a sin? The wind rustled through the leaves. In his dreams, he had kissed and embraced her, but in reality… His heart beat so fast it felt like it would leap out of his chest; finally, his lips touched hers.
Wake up, Feng! Stop me! Quickly! His hands gripped the bed frame tightly. If he let go, he would surely violate her.
Blood ties! Blood ties! She’s your sister!
The wind rushed out in a cold sweat. Cold water should be able to douse his desires. For such a pure person, he would protect her for life!
“Wu Feng, have you heard about the kid from the front street being bullied by some bad youths? It’s really not peaceful these days, why are there bad youths everywhere?” Feng was slightly indignant, “What are the police doing, wasting taxpayers’ money?”
“Sister, it doesn’t concern you.” He lowered his head, feeling a bit down. After all, he was one of the gang leaders.
“I’m just curious, these kids can’t read properly, only know how to fight and cause trouble. Being a parent is really tough.”
“Sister, no one is born rebellious. It’s because of lack of care, lack of love, not getting what they want, that they choose a cold, rebellious path.”
Feng pondered, “That makes sense. Are your friends coming over for dinner today?”
Strangely, his friends all liked Feng. Perhaps it was her warm smile and her caring nature.
“Today there’s a make-up class, how about that?”
“Did you forget? Today is your birthday, and we were planning to throw a party for you, but it’s fine. Come home early.” Feng gave him a playful tap on the head, “Happy Birthday.”
His heart skipped a beat. Since that night, he had never dared to look directly at her. He would stay out late every day, unable to be alone with her.
She had asked him about the reason. How could he tell her that he felt more than just brotherly affection, that he loved her like a lover?
“Would you love your own sister?” After school, Feng and Wen went to a bar. Under the dim lights, he asked her.
“I detest my family; they never showed me love. My sister is too self-centered, my little sister too petty, how could I love them? If it were Feng, there might be a slight chance.” Wen lit a cigarette for him, “But that would be chaos.”
“You’re right,” he laughed bitterly. To protect her, he must keep this forbidden love buried deep in his heart, never to reveal it. Otherwise, everything would be over.
But if the person you love the most doesn’t love you back, then everything loses its meaning.
He was in so much pain, so confused, what should he do to have the best of both worlds?
It was already 11 PM when he got home. The living room lights were on; was she waiting for him?
“You know what time it is?” Feng’s face was stern, her voice cold.
“I had a make-up class.”
Lying was no longer difficult for him.
“A make-up class? Until this late?” She gave a cold smile.
On the table, there were birthday candles and a cake. He was filled with guilt, “I’m sorry, Jie.”
“How could you ever make it up to me? Ye Wufeng, did you lie to me?” She stood up, much shorter than him, but imposing.
“I didn’t.”
“Your teacher called. You haven’t been to any makeup classes, not once. Ye Wufeng, how do you explain that?”
His face changed, “I can’t explain.”
“Why can’t you explain? I’ve been entrusted by our parents, I would sacrifice everything for you, do you think your actions now are fair to me? Ye Wufeng, you must have some kind of excuse, right?” Feng said excitedly, her face flushed red.
“Do you think you’re the reason for all this?” he shouted back. The long-suppressed feelings he had for her erupted due to her anger. “Ye Fengfeng, I didn’t dare come back early because I was afraid to see you, afraid I couldn’t control myself!”
He cornered her step by step towards the wall. Seeing his pained expression, she was stunned. “Why, why are you saying this?”
He couldn’t stop now! “I…” He pressed her against the wall, his red face close to hers. “Because I love you! I deeply love you!”
She was completely taken aback, forgetting to resist, forgetting to struggle. He was her brother, and he said he loved her! His fiery lips sealed hers, his embrace was painful.
I can’t bear it anymore, I can’t stop now! She’s your sister, how could you be so beastly! Ye Wufeng, let her go now!
“I love you, I deeply love you, don’t run away from me!” They fell to the floor, with him on top of her. Her soft body, her misty eyes, and her red lips were all tempting him. He kissed her, feeling like he was about to explode.
“Let me go, there’s still time!” Feng recovered from her initial shock, beginning to push and struggle, “Let go now, and I’ll forget everything you’ve said and done.”
“I can’t forget, the fact that I deeply love you!” He held her wrists tightly, “Just let me have you.”
“I am your sister!”
“I know, but I still love you!”
