Yandere Begs for a Break – Part Three

Death was not the dissipation of resentment. After the resentment dissipated, the alternate personality would completely disappear, like a scar naturally healing on a body. Death, however, was like carving out a piece of flesh from an existing wound. If there was only one alternate personality, this world would collapse, thereby affecting the main personality.

However, there was another alternate personality in this world, which meant the world would not collapse. So would the dying alternate personality simply vanish?

It seemed unlikely. These two alternate personalities were joint rulers of this world, surviving by depending on it. The world was less alive and more a result of the unconscious choices made during the alternate personalities’ domination. Like when she entered the previous world, her hasty identity change made the world sense danger and dissonance, causing NPCs to gather around her, providing her a reasonable identity while constantly creating trouble to prevent her actions.

If the world would not collapse, it would certainly not remain idle when detecting the disappearance of an alternate personality. How it would repair itself, and whether it could successfully do so, she was not entirely sure.

Her most challenging issue was the lack of sufficient case studies for reference, so she could only proceed step by step.

Of course, it would be better if Yue Lin did not die. Tao Yu sighed and then gave a bitter smile, feeling she was being delusional. With Yue Lin’s current condition, it was uncertain if he could even make it to the wedding. And now that he had completely offended Yue Ze, her world was likely doomed to fail.

“Mmm…” Yue Lin unconsciously made a small sound.

Tao Yu hurriedly leaned closer, only relaxing when he opened his eyes: “What’s wrong?”

“I’m hungry,” Yue Lin said softly.

Tao Yu looked at him amusedly: “The butler will bring food soon, just wait a bit.”

“Want xiaolongbao,” Yue Lin said, lowering his eyes.

Tao Yu paused, helplessly saying: “Have you forgotten what happened last time? You can’t eat that.”

The last time she rushed to the hospital to care for him, she hadn’t eaten breakfast at home and bought a basket of buns at the hospital entrance. When Yue Lin smelled them, he insisted on eating. She had gone to buy them, but he couldn’t tolerate street food and nearly ended up in surgery again.
