Yandere Begs for a Break – Part Three

The butler’s eyebrows furrowed. He was smart enough to understand Yue Linze’s implication, but said: “You suspect she’s not a psychologist? But she did cure you, and I double-checked everything during the initial contact. The equipment she brought can only be found in her laboratory.

Although at the time of discovering the gentleman’s illness, they hurriedly went to call a doctor and did not conduct further investigation later, those instruments could not be fooled. Now the gentleman’s recovery further proves Tao Yu’s identity.

“Go and investigate,” Yue Linze thought of Tao Yu’s occasional panic in sudden situations, a faint smile appearing in his eyes, “investigate carefully. Maybe a surprise is waiting for us.”

“…Okay.” If Tao Yu were not a doctor herself, he would be breaking out in a cold sweat. What surprise could there possibly be?

The butler muttered to himself, noticing that Yue Linze’s mood had not worsened but seemed even better. Puzzled, he did not delve deeper but turned to find connections to investigate the matter, momentarily forgetting to urge Yue Linze to complete the final investigation.

Yue Linze flipped through Tao Yu’s materials alone, reading through several pages repeatedly before putting them down. Walking to the window for some air, he happened to see Tao Yu chatting with a young doctor in the garden, her relaxed smile something he had never seen in the real world.

His gaze suddenly darkened. Just as he was about to go downstairs and drag her up, the butler rushed back: “Sir, Mr. Zhou has arrived. He was already here when his assistant called.”

Yue Linze frowned unhappily, looking at Tao Yu talking to the young man below, then thinking about having to deal with that bastard Zhou Ying. His previously feigned headache seemed to have become real.

Yue Linze quickly made a decision: “Go and block Zhou Ying, don’t let him in.” He then turned and walked downstairs, intending to drag back the woman chatting with someone.

The butler was stunned and hurried after him: “But, but Mr. Zhou is already here. He’s your longtime friend. If I block him like this, wouldn’t it damage your friendship?”
