The butler misunderstood and tried to persuade him: “The car accident wasn’t entirely Mr. Zhou’s fault. He was a victim too. You two are childhood friends. It would be a pity to become distant over something like this…”

Both the butler and Yue Linze stopped in their tracks, looking up to see a tall figure standing backlit at the villa’s entrance, casually leaning against the doorframe.
Yue Linze calmly watched him approach, his face becoming clearer in his pupils, until a carefree and handsome man stood before him, saying casually, “Long time no see, Linze. I heard you’ve recovered, so I came to check on you.”
He finished speaking and raised his right hand in a splint, waving it in front of Yue Linze as if greeting him.
Yue Linze glanced at the butler, who coughed guiltily: “Mr. Zhou is concerned about you, so I told him.”
“Don’t blame the butler. If he weren’t concerned, who would ask about your condition every day?” Zhou Ying said with a laugh.
Yue Linze looked at him calmly: “Has no one told you that you should get someone’s consent before visiting their home?”

Zhou Ying laughed, nudging Yue Linze with his uninjured left arm carelessly: “Okay, we just went out drinking and had a car accident. It’s not like only you got hurt. I wasn’t idle either. If rescue hadn’t been timely, I’d have been a corpse.”
“Since it was so serious, you should go back and rest. Butler, see the guest out,” Yue Linze, still thinking about the woman in the back garden who might be cheating on him, had no patience for Zhou Ying. After saying this, he strode past Zhou Ying without looking back.
