Yandere Begs for a Break – Part Three

After closing her eyes, she waited a long time without feeling any movement, so she couldn’t help but open her eyes a crack. She saw Yue Linze carefully pulling out two wine bottles from his chest, offering one to her.

Tao Yu immediately opened her eyes, her previous nervousness replaced by absurdity: “Where did you get these from?”

“From my chest. I hid them well. Didn’t you notice?” Yue Linze looked somewhat proud.

Tao Yu’s mouth twitched. While he looked innocent and happy about being able to drink, it made her previous thoughts seem even more inappropriate.

Yue Linze opened the wine bottle and took a couple of sips, his eyes instantly lighting up: “Delicious.”

“…Alcoholic,” Tao Yu laughed, opening her own bottle, seriously fulfilling her promise to drink with the alternate personality on their wedding night.

She originally thought the alternate personality would have a low tolerance and stop after a few drinks, but Yue Linze was quite considerate. After just a light sip, he put down the glass and looked at her seriously: “Would you like to hear Buddhist scriptures? I’ll recite them for you.”

“I don’t…” Before Tao Yu could finish, she saw his mouth start to quiver, about to cry, so she quickly added, “I’d like to hear Buddhist scriptures since I can’t sleep.”

Yue Linze laughed and enthusiastically put down the wine, beginning to recite a bunch of incomprehensible text. Tao Yu initially pretended to listen attentively, but gradually began to feel bored. After involuntarily yawning, she nervously looked at him, afraid of offending him.

However, Yue Linze continued reciting scriptures, completely unaffected. Tao Yu hesitated, waving her hand in front of him: “Are you drunk?”

Yue Linze remained unmoved, continuing to recite. Tao Yu was silent for a moment, then simply lay down and fell asleep. Just as she was about to drift off, she felt her body being moved, and drowsily opened her eyes to see Yue Linze’s face right in front of her.

By now, Tao Yu could handle any quirks from the alternate personality, so she remained calm: “What do you want?”

“We should light some peace incense from a temple. It goes well with the Buddhist scriptures,” Yue Linze looked at her expectantly.

Tao Yu was expressionless: “What will you do if I object?”
