Crazy Smartphone – Part Three [Completed]

When Lin Feng appeared, Gao Lan and others subtly, yet with deep meaning, dispersed to several strategic points ready to strike at any moment. It was clear that with just a word from Lin Feng, the chaos could be quelled instantly. The main targets for careful attention were Xing Shun and his bodyguards.

Time passed slowly amidst Sun Chen’s hysterical revelations. Ouyang Ce turned into a mouse caught in the bellows the moment Lin Feng suddenly appeared, while the security guards, already dumbfounded, stood like wooden stakes, utterly immobile. Just as everyone was about to go mad from Sun Chen’s increasingly nonsensical ranting, Sun Dasheng, whom Lin Feng was holding, finally woke up.

Sun Dasheng suddenly flipped up like a corpse, took a step forward, and stood in front of Sun Chen, his eyes bloodshot, shouting, “You know too much!” Sun Chen, in high spirits, was not afraid of Sun Dasheng’s threat and retorted without thinking, “Hey, you little beggar, where’s the stuff I asked you to get from upstairs? Damn it, if you can’t get it, you owe me a hundred bucks!” Realizing his slip, he quickly covered his mouth, but it was too late. He had revealed too much!

“This little beggar knows witchcraft!” Sun Chen, showing some quick thinking, knowing he had said too much, once again brought up the topic of Sun Dasheng’s supposed witchcraft to divert everyone’s attention. However, he was becoming somewhat nervous and timid, backing away slyly as he spoke. Sun Dasheng’s gaze, which seemed ready to devour, made him jump.

“You know too much!” Sun Dasheng pressed, stepping forward, his fist as large as a sandbag swinging towards Sun Chen’s face. With a slap, Sun Dasheng’s fist hit something, but the sensation was off. It was Xing Shun who had suddenly extended his hand to block the punch for Sun Chen.

“Spare him if you can,” Xing Shun said, gripping Sun Dasheng’s fist, locking his movements, his eyes fixed on Lin Feng. Clearly, his words were directed at Lin Feng. He was convinced that Lin Feng was the one orchestrating the chaos through this pitiful monkey.

Lin Feng just grinned and shrugged, indicating he couldn’t help. Sun Dasheng, however, seemed invigorated, as if he had taken an overdose of Viagra, full of vigor. After being blocked by Xing Shun, he didn’t seem to mind. Like the hand being held wasn’t his, he suddenly crouched down, then sprang up, executing a forward roll, his legs tucked in, launching himself directly at Xing Shun’s exposed chest and abdomen.

During this explosive charge, the hand caught by Xing Shun suddenly went limp, easily slipping out of the hold. With this unexpected move, Sun Dasheng gained a significant advantage, kicking out in a flurry of blows, each one landing with a dull thud, forcing Xing Shun to retreat in disarray, barely managing to withstand Sun Dasheng’s fierce attack.

After landing his blow, Sun Dasheng didn’t linger in the fight, immediately turning back to stand beside Lin Feng, resuming his stance with a smirk, glancing at Xing Shun and his alert bodyguards, seemingly taunting them. This swift exchange of attack and defense was so fast that before anyone could react, the big monkey, Sun Dasheng, had already finished.

Xing Shun’s shirt was now covered with dark footprints, clearly having suffered a significant setback, his face changing several times as he tried to suppress the urge to vomit blood.

“You little beggar, how dare you assault a member of the National People’s Congress!” Sun Chen, realizing the situation was turning against him, and seeing his childhood friend Xing Shun had been outmaneuvered, immediately started to stir up trouble. With his sharp mind, he could tell there was something off about this little beggar, Sun Dasheng, possibly the legendary type who feigned weakness to catch prey off guard.

But he was also worried that Xing Shun might back out due to fear, which would leave him with no way out. Shouting insults at the big boss in front of so many people, well, the consequences were unthinkable. So, at this crucial moment, he was determined to drag Xing Shun down with him, not allowing his friend any chance to escape. Thus, he quickly revealed one of Xing Shun’s prestigious identities.

Xing Shun felt a surge of anger! He glared at Sun Chen, signaling his two eager bodyguards to stand down: “Don’t forget our main purpose for coming today!” Xing Shun whispered fiercely. The two bodyguards, though unwilling, had to hold back their anger.

“Boss, what do we do? He’s wearing a watch!”

“Damn! Wearing a watch, what rubbish! Aren’t you the one who loves real-life PK? See those two fools? Have confidence to take them down?”

“Hehehe, with the boss backing us up, what do we have to fear?!”

“Let’s fight?”

“Fight!” The two boys, completely disregarding the others in the room, started their impromptu military conference.

Moreover, listening to their tone, it seemed like Xing Shun and the few people he brought were nothing more than human punching bags that could be easily manipulated at will. However, before Lin Feng’s arrival, Sun Dasheng was just an ordinary street thug, the kind who might die unnoticed. How could such an ordinary person suddenly become a tough, fearless figure? Could it be, as Sun Chen said, that this guy was a hidden master, perhaps even a sorcerer? After witnessing Sun Dasheng cripple one of the fierce men with a single move, and then, like a burst of energy from an expired Viagra, make Xing Shun look disheveled, onlookers naturally would think so. But those who truly understood the situation were even more astounded, their minds unable to fathom it.

Xing Shun had intended to probe Lin Feng’s strength but was unexpectedly disrupted by the suddenly tenacious and combative Sun Dasheng. On the surface, it seemed like Sun Dasheng was playing the fool to catch the wise, but Xing Shun had a clear judgment in his heart; he knew this had to be related to Lin Feng. It was Lin Feng’s sudden arrival that transformed Sun Dasheng into such a formidable figure, almost beyond belief, almost against all reason. He noticed the expressions of Gao Lan and others; although these women concealed it well, his professional sensitivity allowed him to detect something unusual.

“Things are getting more interesting. It seems not only do I not know the background of this President Lin, but even those around him are curious about their boss’s secrets. Interesting! It seems the military’s interest in him isn’t unfounded! Hey, such a person, it’s not worth provoking! As for the little Japanese, hey, forget about them!” Xing Shun decided, clasping his hands together in a salute, laughing, “President Lin is indeed extraordinary! This young brother here is also fierce and vigorous, a rare hero among the younger generation! However, this is your office, and fighting here is rather uninteresting. If you are both interested, I have a good place for such activities!”

“Hey, Boss Lin, did you hear that? The guy with the watch says he has a good place to invite us to! But it sounds like he’s challenging our courage to follow him!”

“The guy with the watch talks crap, it’s unbearable, just ignore him!”

“Oh!” Sun Dasheng, following the command, puffed out his chest and loudly shouted at Xing Shun, “Hey, watch guy, did you hear? My boss said you’re crap, your words stink, so we won’t bother with you!”

“Little beggar, you insult a member of the National People’s Congress, you’re done for! I’ll call the police to arrest you! Wait, just you wait!” Xing Shun, finally losing patience with his childhood friend, pointed lightly, and the two bodyguards, already filled with anger, rushed forward. Poor Sun Chen didn’t even understand what happened before his eyes went black and he lost consciousness. At last, the world was quiet for a moment.
