“Boss, that cow head of yours is really unique. Are you interested in selling it to me?” someone inquired.
As he asked, Xu Xian’en seemed to see that “divine cow” head continuously sneezing, its large yellow teeth also trembling from the cold.
“No offense, but this cow head isn’t for sale. We still need to get on our way; without it, we really can’t manage,” Xu Xian’en replied.
Zhen Bing smiled at her, expecting her to immediately agree and sell that spirited cow head to get even for the grudge settled days ago in the wilderness.
“It’s fine, I can trade you with a local specialty horse. Although it has only one eye, it can keenly observe the surroundings, and despite having only one front leg, it runs very steadily. If you’re in a hurry, riding a horse would be much faster than riding a cow,” a one-armed man said to them with enthusiasm.
“Thanks for your kind offer, but no need,” Xu Xian’en laughed dryly. This fellow made the horse sound almost divine, but no matter how she thought about it, it seemed like a crippled horse to her.
“I am genuinely interested in your cow. If you’re willing to sell, the price certainly won’t disappoint you,” he continued.
“Thank you for your sincerity, but we have an emotional attachment to this cow, so it’s not that we’re making things difficult for you or that we think your country’s horse is inferior; it’s purely an emotional decision. I hope you can understand,” Zhen Bing quickly interjected, as any further discussion would likely exhaust Enen, potentially causing a scene for everyone. “If you’re really interested in cows, why not take a trip to the Three-Body Country? That’s where we got this cow. Just head south from here, and you should reach it in a few days.”
“Thank you, thank you.” The one-armed man seemed quite excited, bowed, and then ran off.
With this commotion, the crowd had largely dispersed.
“Ah, all these people just came to see the excitement; we didn’t sell everything,” Xu Xian’en said, feeling somewhat defeated on her first day of business.
Zhen Bing laughed indifferently and started tying the bags and money onto the cow.
