Seductress Reborn

“If I’m not mistaken, you probably can’t obtain the ‘Immortal Ice Flower’, right?” the Misty Person said mysteriously.

“Do you have a way?” I asked, noticing their cleverness and their eyes on Kong Jue.

“Let me explain!” Tian Ji interjected, pointing at Kong Jue. “According to one’s own power, it’s impossible to obtain the ‘Immortal Ice Flower’, but with Kong Jue’s help, it might be.”

“What does that mean? How can he help?” Xie Ying suddenly asked.

“Don’t be jealous!”

Tian Ji’s words darkened everyone’s expressions as he continued, “None of you can take the little girl to the location of the ‘Immortal Ice Flower’ because it can only be picked by her. Even you would find it difficult to succeed.”

“Are you saying Kong Jue can take me up there?” I asked, uncertain.

“Indeed!” Tian Ji said, his joking expression gone as he stared at Kong Jue for a long time. “His internal power is beyond ordinary people. Ling Xiao Peak won’t be difficult for him, but…”

“But what?”

“If he goes up, it will consume a great deal of his internal power. If Tian Mei can also go up, then…”

This thought made me melancholy too. Tian Mei’s abilities were extraordinary, and if they were to meet, it would likely end in a fight to the death.

“My lady, are you worried about me?” Kong Jue suddenly smiled brilliantly, dazzling to look at. “I don’t care who I am. As long as I can save those children, dying would be worth it.”

“Kong Jue…” It was the same face but housing a different soul. I didn’t want him to die a second time or be tortured by guilt again.

“Darling, are we going to war again?” Tian Ji humorously said. “This scene is not suitable for us old folks. I’ll go to Ice Snow Mountain first and wait for you to join.”

“Wait for me!”

“Mizong followed, ran a few steps, and pulled Kongque, ‘Good disciple, we came to take you to Ice Snow Mountain.’

‘Master, I…’ Kongque glanced at me darkly.

‘Don’t worry, the little demon will be fine. Go to Ice Snow Mountain first; I have an important task for you.’ Mizong then looked at me. ‘Little demon, I’m taking Kongque away. He must learn more things. Wait for your meetup!’

Watching the two old men drag Kongque away, I shook my head helplessly. Kongque, not Yu Lie, yet also Yu Lie. Whose heart do I really place on him?

‘Xiao Ai, when are you planning to go to Ice Snow Mountain?’ Nangong Mo’s question made me ponder. Honestly, I had no idea. Tianmei made me uneasy; he couldn’t possibly stay quiet.

‘Are you thinking about Tianmei?’ Xie Ying comforted me. ‘With so many of us, he won’t dare to act recklessly.’

‘Right!’ I gave a bitter smile. If they knew I’d been knocked unconscious twice, they would go crazy.

‘Ai Ai, you should rest more. You’ve been too stressed lately, which isn’t good for your health.’ Xiao Yao supported me back to the room, relieved after seeing me lie down.

‘Yao, will you stay with me?’ I asked with a smile.

‘Of course, I’ll stay with you and our son!'”

Xiao Yao pressed his face against my lower abdomen, his mouth curving into a happy smile.

“Who said it’s a son? Don’t say that!” I pouted, worried that mentioning it might lead to me actually giving birth to a son, making my future years difficult.

“Okay, won’t say!” Xiao Yao nodded, but the laughter in his eyes revealed his inner thoughts.

“What a sweet scene!” Tianmei suddenly appeared, making Xiao Yao nervously stand up.

“Yao!” I held his hand, afraid he might fight Tianmei.

“The legendary Fourth Prince, ethereal like an immortal. No wonder the Water Moon Queen developed feelings for you,” Tianmei smirked. Seeing Xiao Yao stunned, he continued, “Oh, I forgot. You might not know you’re not actually related to the Water Moon Royal Family by blood.”

Xiao Yao glared at him, almost breaking free to rush forward.

“Yao, don’t!” I held him tightly, angrily looking at Tianmei. “What exactly do you want? Why bring up old matters?”

“Ai Ai, do you know?” Xiao Yao turned back to me, shocked. “Is what he said true?”

“Yao, I just didn’t want you to be sad…” The sudden sadness in his eyes broke my heart; I had wanted to keep this secret forever.

“Not my biological father, not my biological sister…” Xiao Yao’s eyes filled with tears, looking lost. “Then who is my real father?”

“Fourth Prince, why be sad? Isn’t everything fine now?” Tianmei smiled wickedly.

“What are you planning now?” I glared at Tianmei, angry enough to get out of bed.

“My lady, I’ve clearly told you my intentions. You won’t be so forgetful, will you?” In an instant, Tianmei appeared in front of me, paralyzing Xiao Yao, who then fell unconscious on the bed.

“Don’t hurt him!” I said weakly.

“How would you deal with them?” Tianmei asked softly from beside the bed.

“What do you think?” He leaned against the bed’s edge, glancing at me, “If I killed them, you would be very sad, wouldn’t you?”

My heart sank, and I replied coldly, “Are you trying to blackmail me?”

“How dare I blackmail the madam, I’m just reminding you!”

“What does bringing me here mean?”

“Just bringing madam over to chat, and I’ll send you back in a few days.” Tianmei’s smile remained relaxed.

“How many days is ‘a few’?”

“It depends.”

“I’m tired, goodbye!” I lay down on the bed fully clothed. After a moment, I heard Tianmei’s footsteps leaving, and I sighed, touching my belly, wondering if the child would be safe.

Tianmei remained close to me, even when he occasionally left small demons to watch over me. I didn’t understand his intentions, but I was nervous.

Despite the seemingly idle days, it was difficult not to feel angry or frustrated.

“Stop following me!” I glared at Tang Liuli, who had not left my side since morning.

“I cannot comply. The Liuli demon only takes orders from the hall master,” she replied with a cold smile.

“Qiao Ruos was devoted to you, yet you responded so coldly. Don’t you have any feelings for him?”

Tang Liuli’s eyes dropped momentarily before she looked up coldly. “What feelings? Getting close to him was just following orders. He was a chess piece we used. If he fell in love, it’s his own fault for being stupid!”

“He is stupid for loving a demon like you.” I felt sorry for Qiao Ruos, who had invested so much only to be used.

“Hmph!” Tang Liuli turned away.

A mocking laugh interrupted, and Tang Yingying appeared at the door. “Liuli demon, your methods are impressive. You’ve completely disoriented Qiao Ruos, making him think you’re delicate and gentle.”

“Are you any better?” Tang Liuli narrowed her eyes. “At least I can complete the hall master’s task well, and you…”

“What about me? Am I disgracing the hall master’s orders?”

Tang Yingying glared, filled with anger.

“Heh…” Tang Liuli said, “You’ve bewitched Moxi Hen, but… you’ve probably developed feelings, haven’t you?”

“You!” Tang Yingying clenched her fists in hatred.

“You three always argue when you meet. Aren’t you tired?” Tang Xiaomeng chimed in, her playful smile evident.

“Are all of you so idle?” I glanced at the three of them and walked out the door.

Three days had passed, and Tianmei had not mentioned releasing me. I worried about my husbands, who must be anxious. If they came looking for me, they would not be a match for Tianmei.

“Madam, you don’t look well,” Tianmei appeared suddenly.

“The feng shui of the mansion is not good; I’m not used to it!” I replied, walking straight ahead, having already toured the entire Tang mansion. Now I was wandering, trying to ease my troubled thoughts.

“I suppose you are bored. Why don’t I take you to meet someone interesting?” Tianmei’s smile had a mysterious quality.

“Who?” My curiosity piqued.

“Someone from your… past!” Tianmei’s smile deepened, and a coldness flickered in his eyes.
