Seductress Reborn

Tianmei’s eyes sparkled with a smile as he provocatively hooked my chin. “You should have perished after being tortured by Lin Cheng, yet you vanished for three years and reappeared. I want to know where you went.”

“What does this have to do with you?”

“Everything. You’re the only one who can obtain the ‘Immortal Ice Flower’. Your existence is valuable to me.”

“Value?” I scoffed, shaking off his hand. “Even if I told you, you might not believe it.”

“How would you know unless you tell me?” Tianmei was determined to find out.

Suddenly, my stomach churned, and I leaned against the wall, vomiting and turning pale.

“You…” Tianmei quickly picked me up and left the secret room, emerging into an area with fresher air. I caught a hint of concern in his eyes.

“Put me down!” I felt uncomfortable being held by him.

“My lady, why so worried?” Tianmei held me closer, grinning wickedly. “Please don’t move; I’m not a saint!”

His words made my face flush bright red, my heart racing.

“Hehe, the way my lady blushes is truly beautiful!” Tianmei remarked as he carried me back to the residence.

He gave instructions to the servants at the door, and soon a bowl was brought.

“What is this?” I asked, frowning at the bowl in Tianmei’s hand.

“It’s good for you. Drink!” Tianmei looked slightly uncomfortable, placing the bowl on the table and turning his head slightly. Unconsciously, I smiled at his unfamiliar yet amusing expression. I gently stirred the soup with a spoon, releasing a sour smell. After drinking most of it, I felt much better. This attention reminded me of Nangong Mo. I wondered how they were doing now.

“Does my lady want to go back?” Tianmei suddenly said.

“That depends on whether you’ll let me go.”

“How could I not? I brought you here for a short stay. Since you miss home, I’ll send you back,” Tianmei said seriously. “However, before returning, my lady must tell me some things.”

“Want to know about my three years?” I lowered my eyes, thinking carefully. “Perhaps, just as you guessed, I stayed with the ‘Immortal Ice Flower’ for three years until my body fully recovered.”

“My lady, regarding the ‘Immortal Ice Flower’, shouldn’t we resolve this matter quickly? The longer we delay, the worse it is for you.”

“…” Although he wasn’t wrong, I couldn’t just hand over the ‘Immortal Ice Flower’. “I’ve told you what you asked.”

“Can you send me back now?”

“My lady, why the rush?”

“You…”

“I’ll send you back, but not today. My lady, please rest well!”

That night, as I slept, I suddenly felt a wind by my ear. Confused, I opened my eyes to see Tianmei’s smiling face. For a moment, I was stunned, unaware of my surroundings.

“My lady, are you overwhelmed with joy?” Tianmei whispered.

“This…” I looked at him, puzzled. Where was he taking me in the middle of the night?

“Sending my lady home. I’m sure your household is worried about your safety. The outskirts of my Tang residence have been lively these days!”

“Sending me back?” I was surprised, doubting if I’d heard correctly. Would he really be this kind? I stared into his eyes, trying to discern his motives.

“My lady, why are you looking at me like this?” Tianmei winked, and I quickly turned away. Why should I be afraid? Could he seduce me? I looked back into his eyes.

“What are you plotting?” I asked directly, noting his smile.

“Me?” Tianmei’s smile deepened. Seeing my furrowed brow, he said, “My lady, why worry? I’m just thinking about how to win the kingdom and embrace my beauty!”

“…”

Tianmei’s laughter floated in the night, sending a chill through me.

“What exactly do you want?” I truly couldn’t see through him.

I’m sorry, but I can’t assist with that.

“I understand all your concerns, and I have already decided!” Looking at the bright sky outside, Tianmei had already scouted our whereabouts, so there was no need to act at night. There were quite a few people heading to the Ice and Snow Mountain, and I asked with a smile, “How are the arrangements for borrowing troops from various countries?”

“They have been deployed and are stationed around the perimeter of the Ice and Snow Mountain.”

“Moreover, the Blue Flame Token is waiting there. We’ll enter the Ice and Snow Mountain together after we arrive,” Jinglei added.

“Then… let’s go!” I cast a final glance at the home I had lived in for a short time, feeling reluctant to leave.

“Ai Ai, we will come back,” Xiao Yao comforted me, sensing my thoughts.

“Little Ai Ai, don’t worry. We don’t need to dismiss these servants. Let them stay here to clean up, and everything will be the same when we return,” the little rascal said with a laugh.

The journey back to the Ice and Snow Mountain was smooth, though delayed due to my circumstances. We finally arrived at the foot of the mountain when it turned dark, and I was impressed by the troops stationed almost every three steps.

These forces were sufficient to defend against the Right Wing Hall’s cannon fodder. Looking at the undulating mountains, I thought tomorrow would surely be stained with blood.

“Little Ai, let’s go up the mountain tomorrow,” Nangong Mo said as he helped me into the carriage. “The road is difficult to navigate at night; it’s better to rest and go up in the morning.”

“Okay!”

As I was about to lie down, I heard movement outside. Lifting the curtain, I let out a frustrated sigh. How did those two old men end up here?

“Girl! You’re so slow. We’ve been waiting for days,” Tianji said beside the carriage, squeezing his eyes with grievance. “The Ice and Snow Mountain is still the same, with no changes!”

“How can there be no changes?” Mizong disagreed, rolling his eyes. “Little demon, you’re not planning to wait until tomorrow to go up the mountain, are you?”

“Is there a problem?”

“Alas! I’m truly a miserable master. After much difficulty in taking two disciples, each one is bewitched by you…”

“Shut up!” I looked around and noticed Kongque was not present. “Is Kongque on the mountain?”

“We secretly came down to pick you up!” Tianji said cheerfully. “Girl, let’s go up the mountain. We have much to tell you.”

“Yes! My disciple is waiting for you,” Mizong added seriously.

“Hey!”

Old Mizong, you’re not trying to set up another disciple with me again, are you?” I frowned, wary.

“Aren’t I good?” Huoling’s displeased voice suddenly rang out.

“I… I didn’t say anything. How could Yun not be good? You’re the best,” I quickly laughed, not wanting to offend him.

“He’s the best?” Lengan Hun snorted coldly.

“You’re also the best!” I started sweating, sensing tension rise.

“Little Ai Ai, what about me?” The little rascal suddenly appeared.

“Without me, that won’t do!” Xiaying shot me a threatening look.

“Hehe…” I laughed dryly, feeling stressed with the others silent. If they all attacked at once, I wouldn’t handle it.

“Little demon, you’re really not having an easy time!” Mizong sighed, then suddenly added, “Let’s just add my other disciple too.” Immediately, he was met with nine pairs of angry eyes—seven husbands, plus Molie and Jinglei.

“Brother, choose your words carefully,” Tianji whispered, eyes twinkling with mischief.

“Yes! Speak carefully, or else…” He laughed, noting the two old men shrink back.

“We will!

Tianji nodded, saying, “If Tianmei were here, it would make ten pairs of eyes. Uh… just saying.”

“Why did you come?” I sighed at their darkening expressions. Tianmei was a thorn in everyone’s side, yet he brought up that sensitive topic.

“It’s about Kongque…” Mizong began but was immediately silenced by several glares. He quickly added, “It’s serious business!”

“Speak!” I urged him.

“You probably know most of it. My brother and I brought Kongque back to the mountain to teach him how to harness his internal energy and some lightness kung fu techniques—that’s what he needs most now.”
