Seductress Reborn

“Yes, Ai Ai, thank goodness you’re okay, otherwise…” Xiao Yao said, recalling the scene with lingering fear.

“Little Ai, there’s one thing I don’t understand. How did we end up in this place?” Nangong Mo asked, confused.

“To be honest, I don’t understand either. Perhaps it’s a space-time magnetic field conversion point,” I speculated.

“Ai’er, how did your image appear in that place? And the voice…” Xie Ying asked, eyes full of wonder. Leng Ao Hun looked uncomfortable, avoiding eye contact, and Xiao Yao instantly blushed.

“Did you… do something?” I asked, staring at them.

“Nothing much.” Leng Ao Hun coughed lightly and looked away, “I thought you were trapped inside, so… I smashed it.”

“Uh…” I glanced at the others; their expressions said it all. I couldn’t hold back my laughter, tears flowing down my cheeks.

“Ai Ai!” Xiao Yao was embarrassed.

Leng Ao Hun’s face was cold, glaring at the reporters taking photos. They backed away, thinking he was about to draw his sword.

“Ai’er, let’s go back. This world…” Xie Ying frowned, struggling to find the right words.

“But how do we go back?” I asked, amused by his apparent discomfort.

“Ruo Feng is here!” Nan Gong Mo said with a light laugh.

Qiao Ruo Feng landed gracefully, handed gold to the guide, then walked toward me. The guide, holding the gold, smiled, escaping from his previous shock.

“Truly a merchant!” Leng Ao Hun laughed.

“Ai’er,” Qiao Ruo Feng inspected me, confirming I wasn’t hurt, then smiled, “Didn’t expect those few to arrive first.”

“There are still a few more. Looks like we’ll have to wait.” Xie Ying smiled helplessly.

“Ying, you don’t mean… more than Yun and Han?” I asked cautiously.

“Actually…”

Qiao Ruo Feng hesitated, then said, “Ai’er, Tian Mei was closest to you, so he was the first to jump down.”

“Let’s start now!” Yu Lie drew me into his arms with a light smile, ignoring the angry glares from others.

“Lie, would you mind if the whole world sees this?” I smiled at the reporters with cameras. “We’re going to be stars.”

“Stars?” Yu Lie raised an eyebrow, glancing at the reporters, making them retreat.

“Xiao Ai, what are they doing? Why are they waiting here with us?” Nan Gong Mo asked.

“Well, this is their job,” I said, knowing they would ask more questions. “I’ll explain when everyone arrives. You still have a lot to learn.”

Xie Ying let out a disdainful cold snort.

“Ai Ai, look down there,” Xiao Yao pointed below.

“Looks like a cloud.” The crowd opened a path for a taxi that drove through, carrying Huo Ling Yun. When he stepped out, the crowd’s reaction was like seeing an ancient emperor, fitting as he had a king’s presence.

Huo Ling Yun’s cold gaze swept across the scene, looking irritable as he didn’t see me.

His sword moved closer to the reporter’s neck. The young reporter hastily pointed up, and Huo Ling Yun looked up, sheathing his sword. The next move was predictable – another heavenly flying immortal shot.

“Ai’er!” Huo Ling Yun glared at me fiercely, making me lower my head guiltily. He hugged me with complex feelings, and I heard his relieved sigh, feeling too guilty to speak.

“Fire King, did you just come in an armored beetle? What great treatment!” Xie Ying said coldly.

“But that beetle ran quite fast!” Leng Ao Hun suppressed a smile.

“That’s not a beetle, it’s a car!” I laughed, watching the big men joke. The reporters stared at us with confused eyes, quickly understanding their thoughts. A handsome guy getting intimate with me seemed strange to anyone.

“Car?” Xiao Yao muttered, “A car with ‘qi’ in its name looks much faster than a horse-drawn carriage.”

“Now, only Mo Li and Yu Han haven’t arrived,” Qiao Ruo Feng said with some worry.

“Don’t worry about Mo Li, but Yu Han…” Xiao Yao frowned, suddenly remembering something.

“By the way, I’m curious about how you ended up in that ice cave, even if you can fly…”

The reporters’ voices sounded flat after witnessing so many strange things, making them seem ordinary. However, excitement returned as one exclaimed, “Looks like Song Chengxian… how could he appear?”

“Could it be a new film promotion?” another asked.

“I haven’t heard about any new movies recently,” came the response.

Listening to them, I knew Mo Li had arrived. He pushed aside the guide and walked straight toward me, as if I were the only one he saw.

Mo Li looked into my eyes for a long time and then said, “From now on, I don’t need to ask permission to hug you. I want to hold you forever.”

“Mo Li, I…” I hesitated, glancing at Huo Lingyun beside me, uncertain of what to say.

“Why are you looking at me!” Huo Lingyun growled, then reluctantly added, “Since Cold Ling Zhu doesn’t care about Jing Lei, then as a lower-ranking king, I don’t need to care either!”

As soon as Huo Lingyun finished speaking, everyone except Mo Li moved away from me. Feeling guilty, I stayed with Mo Li, rubbing my stomach and softly saying, “I’m hungry.”

Mo Li’s smile instantly disappeared, leaving him looking helpless.

“I’ll get something to eat,” he said, ignoring the surprised looks from others. He approached a female reporter, “You’ve been waiting here for so long, and it’s already dark. Shall I get some food?”

“Oh, okay!” the female reporter hurriedly responded.

Suddenly, I felt my actions might be excessive, as the reporter seemed like someone who could be easily manipulated.

“Xiao Ai, Yu Han!” Nan Gong Mo called out. When I looked at the TV screen, I was stunned.

The boy on TV appeared pitiful, chased to the rooftop edge by a group of people. The scene was chaotic, filled with police, reporters, and onlookers. The boy, standing at the edge, displayed deep attachment and determination, his hair flying in the wind. I had never seen such an expression on him before, and my heart tightened. What had happened to him?

“Han…” I took two steps forward, momentarily forgetting myself, but Nan Gong Mo quickly grabbed me. I looked down; half an inch more and I would have fallen.

“What’s wrong with Yu Han?” Xiao Yao frowned, puzzled.

“Where’s Ai’er?” Yu Lie asked anxiously, worried about his brother’s situation.

“Reporter, where is that place?” I turned to the nearest male reporter.

“Tell me! Where is that?” Yu Lie demanded fiercely, grabbing the reporter’s collar.

“It… it…” The reporter stammered, unable to respond, sweat beading on his forehead.

“Hmph! Useless!” Yu Lie disdainfully threw him aside and anxiously searched among the other reporters, causing them to retreat.

I pulled back Yu Lie. At times like these, I had to step in. My gaze fell on the female reporter who had just brought up the meal box. I smiled and said, “Immediately connect to your on-site reporter. If anything happens to that person, none of you will see tomorrow’s clouds!” I stopped, remembering the little ghost’s words about the weather.

“Yes, I’ll connect right away!” The female reporter was relatively calm now.

“Ai’er, I’ve discovered that women in your world are stronger than men!”Evil Shadow smiled appreciatively at the female reporter.

“Of course! Our world has many strong women, but you’d better look less! Be careful of getting jealous!” I warned while laughing, but I was starting to worry about not being able to return to the modern world. What if some woman seduced them?

“More beautiful than you?” Xiao Yao asked, causing everyone to curl their lips in amusement.

“Probably… not,” I replied humbly.

“Connected!” The female reporter interjected, “They’re in a commercial building not far from here.”

“According to the reporter there, that gentleman seems about to jump.”

“Jump?” I raised an eyebrow, snatching the phone from the female reporter and shouting, “If he jumps, I’ll make you all jump with him!”

“Uh…” The reporter on the other end was confused. “Miss, who are you?”
