Crazy Smartphone – Part One

This bizarre and amusing bullfighting match sparked a flurry of discussions among the spectators, with most people wearing knowing smiles. The flamboyant cheers swept through again: “Lin Feng, Lin Feng, the invincible whirlwind!” “Cao Nan, Cao Nan, struggling to control the ball!” “Cao has no ball…” Someone timidly shouted from the crowd, instantly causing a burst of laughter and applause. Cao Nan’s new nickname spread like wildfire, echoing into the clouds. … The scene appeared flamboyant, but Lin Feng, the protagonist, actually had his own grievances. He was forced into this situation. He really wanted to man up and charge directly at Cao Nan, jumping over him to dunk several balls. However, the reality was different. Firstly, in front of such a large audience, he dared not move too extravagantly; he had to meticulously control his pace, slow down his swift steps, and delay the moment his mental energy would be exhausted. Secondly, his naturally frail physique meant he avoided any close contact with the tall and robust Cao Nan. Cao Nan’s sneaky moves were too dirty. If it weren’t for the swift boots enhancing his agility and speed, allowing him to dodge just in time, his frail body couldn’t withstand any external force. Lin Feng knew that by now, he would be covered in bruises, possibly even hospitalized. Cao Nan’s underhanded tactics were relentless but to no avail, leaving him on the verge of spitting blood from frustration. As the match progressed, his heart tightened more and more. Lin Feng’s movements, though comical, perfectly countered every move Cao Nan made, as if he could read his mind. Damn, what a freak! What does he want? To embarrass me in front of everyone? With such good ball-stealing awareness, why doesn’t he just beat me with a straightforward basket? Am I not worthy? Cao Nan was driven mad with frustration, wanting to confront the overly excited students who were constantly cheering. Everyone marveled at how they hadn’t noticed this jester before, who had come out to deal with this detestable school bully. Cao Nan’s face turned ashen, lowering his voice to say word by word, “You dare to mess with me…” 032, I’ll PK you for real! Lin Feng chuckled foolishly, “Oh, boss Cao, I wouldn’t dare mess with you. Plus, my sexual orientation is quite normal, you can think whatever you want. It’s just a few lost balls, you can refuse to acknowledge it, it doesn’t really matter!” After speaking, Lin Feng simply sat down on the spot. The onlookers thought he was just showing off to provoke Cao Nan, and the laughter grew louder. But who could guess that Lin Feng was only sitting because he had no other choice? He desperately needed to rest to quickly recover his nearly depleted mental and physical energy. After a bitter struggle with Cao Nan, the situation he feared had finally occurred again – both his mind and body were depleted. Facing the furious Cao Nan, Lin Feng had no time to continue this entanglement. Sitting so casually on the ground was a huge risk; one misstep and Cao Nan could rush over in his anger, and then it would be a matter of life and death, wondering which Buddha could save him. All because the system inside his consciousness was constantly warning him – this was a life-or-death moment! He couldn’t worry about much else. Lin Feng closed his eyes, his body instantly entering a strange, closed state, with his pores wide open. Countless streams of air were converging into his body from all directions, sourced from the excited students cheering for him… Those were – character points! The character points surged to their peak, forming an almost invisible, transparent aura around Lin Feng, enveloping him so tightly that even the space around him seemed distorted. “Boss, I’ll PK you for real!” Humiliated in front of so many people, Cao Nan’s blood boiled, and in his anger, he grabbed a basketball from the side, raised it over his head, leaped high, and, with a roar like he was dunking, smashed the ball towards Lin Feng. The sudden change caught everyone off guard. The basketball was about to hit Lin Feng’s head when, strangely, it veered off course just two centimeters away, sliding past Lin Feng and hitting the floor with a thud. Cao Nan was stunned; how could he miss at such close range? Then, as the ball bounced back from the floor, it ‘whooshed’ back, hitting Cao Nan squarely in the face. Cao Nan screamed, seeing stars, feeling his nose sting, and blood trickling down. He touched his face, realizing his nose was bleeding. He had tried to hit someone with the ball, but ended up hitting himself? Seeing such a comical scene unfold, the students laughed even harder, especially those who had been hit by Cao Nan’s basketball earlier, clapping and cheering more enthusiastically. Damn! Even the basketball has a grudge against me, and it’s all because of this bastard who’s making me lose face. I’ll deal with you now… Cao Nan roared, rushing forward with a flying kick, aiming directly at Lin Feng’s forehead. He intended to kick Lin Feng’s head like a ball, aiming to utterly defeat his opponent. He hated Lin Feng sitting there pretending to be innocent, and this kick was with all his might. As the kick descended, the wind from the shoe even stirred Lin Feng’s hair, leaving the crowd stunned, but Lin Feng remained unmoved, seemingly unaware of the danger. “Stop!” A clear female voice rang out like thunder, startling the onlookers who had been too shocked to react. But the shout came too late. Cao Nan’s flying kick was already in motion. He was airborne, legs split, fists clenched, face contorted into a fierce expression, striking a pose straight out of a kung fu movie. Thud… Cao Nan landed stylishly… no, he landed on his back. What happened to him? He seemed… injured? How could the attacker be the one hurt? The one being attacked was still sitting there, unshaken. What the hell? Cao Nan, in pain, got up from the ground, looking uneasily at Lin Feng not far away. The scene had passed in a flash, and while others didn’t notice anything unusual, Cao Nan had a strange thought. Clearly, he had kicked out, but how did his toe end up hitting the floor? This bastard must be using some kind of sorcery… “Hey, Lin Feng, are you okay? Are you hurt…?” A graceful figure quickly ran onto the court. Damn! Wang Xiaoyun shouted, “I’m the one who got hurt, okay? That bastard just sat there without moving a muscle. What could possibly happen to him? Damn it! A pair of adulterers, acting all pure and virtuous usually, and now you’re worried about your little lover when he hasn’t even done anything yet? You little tramp, you care so much about him but not about me? Ouch… Did I break my toe?”

Wang Xiaoyun quickly ran into the court, squatted beside Lin Feng, looking anxious. She called out several times, but Lin Feng still sat there, motionless like an old monk in meditation. She had seen with her own eyes that Cao Nan had kicked Lin Feng in the head. Could he have been kicked into stupidity? Or was he exerting his energy again… causing him to collapse? Why can’t he hear me? This is driving me crazy! Seeing Lin Feng’s face flushed red, just like when he lost control sending messages with his mind yesterday, Wang Xiaoyun dared not move him rashly. However, Cao Nan’s groaning and moaning beside her was getting on her nerves. Wang Xiaoyun stood up with a ‘whoosh’, took two quick steps forward, and pointed at Cao Nan, shouting, “Cao Nan, are you even human? Do you have any humanity? Are you trying to kill him?”

Cao Nan, with a cheeky grin, said, “Xiaoyun, you’re looking at me, aren’t you?”

Wang Xiaoyun angrily retorted, “I’m checking if you’re dead!”

“Don’t be so fierce, Xiaoyun!”

“Hmph! If you can’t handle losing, don’t play basketball. What kind of skill is it to hit someone when you’re losing? Cao Nan, I look down on you!”
